I am looking at Skyler Bell, but I am a little nervous about his age being 24. He might be the best slot receiver available.

My vote goes for Bond, Lewis Bond.

Would be a very good slot guy, runs good routes and makes tough catches.

He was very productive in college but I see he is rated anywhere from a 5th to 7th round pick and wasn't even invited to the combine. Of course the scouts have been wrong before. But WR is certainly the position that we should be looking at with this pick.

My vote goes for Deion Burks WR from Oklahoma. A good route runner with world class 4.30 speed.

The Steelers formally met with Antonio Williams at the Combine. He's a highly productive slot receiver who would give some much needed competition to Roman Wilson and would complement DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman very well.

    My vote goes to:

    Antonio Williams WR Clemson

I was all set to vote for Ted Hurst until @Hawaii 5-0@Hawaii 5-0 and the Chiefs swooped in at the last moment...
Now i'm torn between N. Dakota St WR Bryce Lance and Tex CB Malik Muhammad....
I'll post my official vote soon

Bell is the best of what's left. Given the Steelers recent propensity for drafting knuckleheads, maybe 24 means more maturity.

I thought he had a 3rd rd grade but maybe that was an outlier.

FYI, Born2steel had to drop out. Moving forward anyone can make his picks when his turn comes up.

I watched Skyler Bell in person about a dozen times over the past 2 seasons. I think this point in the draft is about right for him. He gets open. Joe Fagnano left some points in the table underthowing Bell when he beat the coverage. I would note that he played outside most of the time at UCONN, so doesn’t have nearly as many reps as a slot receiver. This isn’t a vote for Bell just yet, but he’s a good player and I think worthy of this pick.

Did Bell run enough inside routes that he could transition to a slot WR? I could also see Pittman working from the slot.

Trey's little brother is 6'3" and runs a 4.34 forty.

His 40 time around 4.55 probably hurts him. But he is a great route runner and has put up big numbers at Boston College.

Some. He ran a lot of verticals, posts, screens galore, quick outs.

Aaron Rodgers would like the quick outs. Google says Bell averaged 8.2 YAC.

My official vote is for Skyler Bell, WR, Connecticut.

I was torn between Antonio Williams and Skyler Bell. I feel like Skyler Bell is more NFL ready. Honestly the Steelers wide receiver position is still dire IMO. I wouldn't be opposed to double dipping in the 3rd round

I officially vote for Skyler Bell, WR, UCONN

Antonio Williams tore his ACL late last season and his availability is in doubt for the beginning of the year. If he was healthy he would be a great choice but our WR position is in such dire need that we need someone that can help right away.

    That wasn't Antonio Williams.

Pretty sure you're thinking of Chris Bell.

And I would still draft Bell. The kid would have been a sure fire first round pick without the injury IMO.
