Anyone can vote no matter if you're in on the mock or not. One vote per person. Be sure of your vote before casting it, votes are final. The player with the most votes wins. Also as with previous years...no trades will be allowed involving the Steelers.

    Thats pretty much it, simple!

Any thoughts on my Bronco pick at #30? We just started the draft, so I would have no problem if you want to make the trade happen here.

I was probably going to go WR at 30, before the Waddle trade.

Edit: Damn I think I put this in the wrong thread.

Pretty sure that the Waddle trade doesn't count in this mock since it's already started....
If it did count, then the pick wouldn't be yours anyway..... it would be miami's... which would make it mine

We're fairly close to the Steelers pick....
Since my favorite target has been snatched already, I'll start the vote with Fla D-lineman
    Caleb Banks

At this point with who's still on the board, I'm throwing out Peter Woods. Guys a beast, and we already signed a run stopping nose tackle.

Ty Simpson needs to be in the discussion. I'm not advocating for him, just saying he would be worth considering if available.

An awful strong choice of words for Mcshay seeing how he absolutely does not know anything for a fact. Very little "inside information" is credible around draft time. These teams are not going to tip their hand.

It also seems to me that the Steelers are interested in Carson Beck. It wouldn't shock me at all if he ends up being one of the Steelers 3rd round picks.

I personally would not draft Simpson. I just think he is a name worth discussing. Since Rodgers wasn't signed before the TSF draft, technically the Steelers would be without a legit starter at QB. in that scenario Simpson would be tempting to some.

@winggin@winggin sorry, forgot to give you Carolina, its yours if you still want to participate.

I even gave your post a like when you said youd take them. Apparently I have been dipping into the drunken GMs stash.

@Thor@Thor thanks for the heads up.

With the needs at WR, CB and Safety covered in Free Agency, I want to go O-Line in the 1st to help out Aaron Rodgers. And, with Guard Olaivavega Ioane already off the board, I am going with Tackle/Guard Spencer Fano Utah. Played Left Tackle mostly in college, but he is being projected as a guard in the NFL, because of his arm length. 32 1/8". Broderick Jones Replacement at LT, or Isaac Seumalo replacement at LG. No lose situation in drafting Spencer Fano.

I don't expect him to be there at #21 because he is currently ranked as the #2 best lineman in this years draft.
    https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Spencer-Fano-OL-Utah

    Scouting Report: Summary
Fano walked into Indianapolis and did exactly what he needed to do: he reminded everyone that this is one of the most gifted athletes to come through the offensive line position in years. Posting the top overall combine score among all tackles, finishing first in the three-cone, and clocking the second-fastest forty validated what the film has been screaming for three seasons.

This is a starting-caliber offensive lineman with genuine top-of-the-draft upside who should step into a lineup and contribute immediately. The Combine performance only reinforced what the tape already said: Fano is a rare mover who finishes blocks with violence and plays with the kind of temperament that offensive line coaches build cultures around.

Spencer Fano is hard to pass up at 21, but my official vote goes to:

    Dillon Thieneman, Safety from Oregon

Fano would be an outstanding pick, Sadiq would be very tempting but I am officially staying with my original pick Dillon Thieneman from Oregon. I think he will be a big game changer in the secondary.

I was thinking Sadiq as well. All these choices being discussed would be good.

I was thinking dline here but the value has dropped off to the next round.

Im still mulling ver who my vote will be for.

Fano could fall for the very reasons you mentioned. Teams may not be sure where he fits. A tackle would generally go earlier than a guard.

Utah's Pro Day was today, and Fano's arm grew 3/4 of an inch since the Combine. :)

Reports indicate that Fano's arms grew 3/4 of an inch, according to Mike Grafolo of the NFL Network. It seems as though the measurements at the Combine came up short for Fano and several other incoming prospects.

I have not seen any reports who the Steelers sent to Utah.

Man, this would be a tough call. For me it's going to come down to Fano or Thieneman. Still mulling over it.

Man I really want to. Throw my hat in for Sadiq but Im a big proponent of building the trenches so I think we need to finish building the line.

    My vote goes to Fano.

I’ll get a tally for what we got so far in a minute.
