Really? You polled the entire building?

Who cares if they like him? He made them better. Without him, they got worse. Those moves hurt the team in 2025 and likely beyond.

Not as a starter but it was sound reasoning by Brice given he played for MM. Either MM knows he isnt salvageable or he didnt have enough pull to get him here.

I have to still wonder if the Cowboys will ever give him a real contract outside of the franchise tag. I'm waiting to see.

Alright who is my next genetic freak up?

Richardson, McCarthy, or do I roll it back to last year's Will Levis? I grew up watching John Elway and Big Ben... I love QBs that can just sling it down field because they have an arm blessed by above.

2026 Draft: I may have to lean toward Drew Allard for raw arm talent.

J.J. McCarthy's arm strength has been a topic of discussion, particularly after he threw a clocked 61 MPH at the 2024 NFL Combine, which is just one MPH shy of the event record held by Josh Allen.

The team obviously cared one knucklehead who was fined multiple times for being late to practice, meetings and even a game. You're a fool if you think they were going to keep Pickens to play with Rodgers, we saw Rodgers get on guys for much less imagine Pickens running his routes half assed like he did in the past.

How did that work out with Metcalf?

Players on great teams don't have to all like one another.

Some people can't comprehend that most teams have bad guys on them. Tomlin should have been able to figure it out, but he didn't want to do that anymore, so his last team in Pittsburgh was weaker than it should have been and they sold off a great player for pennies on the dollar, then overpaid to replace him with another knucklehead who screwed the team over with his immaturity and stupidity. It was the wrong call.

When Metcalf was on the field he gave 100%. Thus he had no issues with his teammates. No so with Pickens.

Tomlin went through half a decade of 'figuring it out' while dealing with AB. He was smart not to repeat that mistake. When Dallas is a SB winner with Pickens on the team I'll be happy to come back and tell you Tomlin made the wrong call.

    Out of those 3, Levis.

I like Allar but he may go too early for us to get him.

I agree with this, not just Tomlin but I doubt anyone in that organization had the stomach for Pickens after dealing with AB for so long.

I also don't think Pickens would been great with the steelers in 2025 in a massive dink and dunk offense...His talent would been wasted

I think the call to trade Pickens was made by more than Tomlin. Khan likely put together a number it was gonna cost. Tomlin likely put together a profile of the dude as a player and his off field issues. Rooney review it. Then all three likely thrashed it out.

They got a better draft pick by trading Pickens rather than waiting to get a comp pick for him .

I have heard many in the local media say things with Pickens was even worse behind the scenes than what was reported.

Last order of business is to sign a veteran guard still no word on the guard from the Cowboys Hoffman.

You are 100% correct, but Metcalf is a different kettle of fish . They both have problems, but are totally different in their problems. You have seen the routes, and the blocking he does a lot when he isn't getting the ball, hell he did that again in Dallas. Can You imagine that last year with Rodgers. We would have not had a Wr fighting with another teams fan, we would have had a wr fighting with our Qb.

Hell Dallas may not even give him a long term contract . That's how iffy they are about him.
