Calvin Austin to the Giants

I think it was pretty obvious the Steelers were not going to resign CAIII. I am hoping this leads to a complete overhaul of the position. Even with Pittman, the Steelers should still add two WRs during the draft.

 

The Team should package Roman, KJ, and Mason for a 3rd. round pick ..Use two or three 3'S and move up and draft top tier WR talent..

 

I want to see these guys with the New Coaching Staff before we run anyone out of town.. Roman, KJ and Pat Freiermuth especially.

 

I am interested in Pat as well, I think Roman and KJ are a waste or roster space and time ..KJ is to slow has no vision and doesn't possess NFL power , he was a bad pick for sure..Roman is in the wrong system he is a free lance guy he needs a new start somewhere else..

 

Austin III I had hope that he could take his game to a different level in which didn't pan out. I wish him well with the Giants,

 

Closest would probably be Randall Cobb. But Cobb was thirty pounds heavier.

Yeah why would any team trade anything for any of these 3. They will all probably be cut and free to anyone that wants them.

 

In a way, he is starting new this year. The Steelers in 2026 will be nothing like the 2025 team. I am not saying that the results will be anything different, but rather that an entirely knew coaching staff with an offensive coach is going to dramatically change things. Everyone is going to be on a prove it to me playing field. Dated Tomlin's daughter? No longer matters, its a new world with McCarthy as HC.
