Steelers Vs. Redskins Preseason Week 2 Gameday Thread

Okay, well....obviously we're not where we want to be in terms of execution. We'll take a look at the film, make some adjustments, and go from there.

Pretty much saw that coming from a mile away. It's still as predictable as ever.

 

i'm seeing to many of these and not enough of these.

All this receiver talent and no RB... should just let Ben play backyard ball... did we ever have on OC that knew how to run an offense like that?

 

How come other teams that run a 3-4 allow their guys to penetrate but our guys are only allowed to take up space. Is our line that bad.

There's one thing you have to say about Steeler fans. We know GOOD football and we know BAD football and we call them like they are.

Our offense is absolutely atrocious what a ****ing joke.

 

I agree. I don't care how many philosophical statements you can come up with they can't replace the Xs and Os that you need as a pro.

I totally agree. I've always felt like our success runs through him anyway.

 

I almost maybe sorta miss BA. I don't know how to react to this feeling... Seriously though I don't know if this is Haley play calling, things we're working on, or our offense s just not very good but its pretty pathetic. At least our defense looks good tonight.

 

Defense looking promising.....offense...well lets just say since I'm mostly an eternal optimist that I'm hoping this is their way of getting the crap out of the way before the real season starts.

 

On one hand: it's preseason. It's not supposed to mean anything.

On the other hand: I'm pretty damn terrified at how bad the offense looks.

And...we're seeing more stupid mistakes: "ILLEGAL FORMATION"??????? This is the NFL. There should NOT be illegal formation!

 

The problem with backyard ball it that it's inconsistent and gets shut down a lot inside the 20. So yes, we had an OC that knew how to run that. This isn't much better but maybe it's personnel related too.

 

Come on offense lets have another three and out maybe a draw on 3 & 20 this time.
