I hand counted the roster and at least 29 of the 53 players on the Super Bowl roster were either drafted or UFA signed when Bill Cowher was coach. The means roughly 24 players were Tomlin's.

Now, there is a gray area, as some players may have been on IR. I also didn't count the players we signed during Bill Cowher's tenure, that were ordinally signed from other teams.

Agreed but you can't dispute the Pats*** played in an extremely weak division (Bills back then, Dolphin, Jets) that helped them get home field most years.

Nobody is saying they weren't Steelers, a certain poster said only 6 were left from Cowher's roster. Not even close, there were more than that on defense alone.

I just like the facts to be correct.

I mean, the majority of our starters were drafted or signed when Bill Cowher was the head coach... The team culture was also created by coach Cowher.LeBeau was also hired by Cowher and Arians was our receiver coach in the last 3 years under Cowher and take the OC job when Whiz become head coach of Arizona

If you look at the top 10 most important players of the 2008 roster, only Woodley was not a Cowher players

Sorry, no problem. However, if there was ever an easier path thru the AFC playoffs in recent years, that would be hard to top. No Jackson, no Mahommes, Nix hurt, Stroud melting down, Allen robbed....Rodgers???

Oh, Cowher must've won multiple Super Bowls since he put together all those great teams all by himself .

Imagine if he had prime Ben for 12 years instead of 2 years!

He was 27-4 including the playoffs in 2004-2005 with a young Ben!...Cowher Power!

This is fun to see you put Cowher in the same category with a top 5 head coach ever!

all you have to do is look at the amount spent on offense and defense during that time. it was huge. we know what that last HC liked. look at the OC's during that time. they held on to and rode ben's coattails way longer than they should have. MT, Art2, and Colbert. they didn't have a clue how to fix it so throw more at the defense. that is what MT knew, even though he was a WR.

He had a franchise QB for 3 seasons and won a SB. The Steelers also got outright cheated by Belicheat and Pats*** a few years as well.

Tomlin had Ben about 15 years, how many SBs?

Maybe Ben should've played better instead of being a turnover machine in the playoffs.
