FWIW, I think Wilson can do Queen's job. I just don't think he can be the thumper in the D.

But I heard today that the proposed return is like a 5th. For that, I'm keeping Queen. Even if he doesn't keep the starting job.

I'd trade Queen... hopefully for at least a 4th rounder (would the Eagles make that deal?)... and I'd push hard to sign FA Leo Chenal, who is young and, I think, better than Queen, and should come cheaper.

I think Tomlin had more than 10 of Cowher's players.

I am actually surprised that Leo has yet to be contacted by any team. Among the players I expected to go get signed immediately, Chenal was among the top players on my list.

Yea those guys both have pretty rough injury histories so we will see. Not sure you can count on either.

i wouldn't mind seeing them go after bobby okereke. can cover, force fumbles and tackle well.

as for dowdle, he's a pretty good receiver as well. i don't think we lose that part of the game much.

Pickens was good but he was not a all-pro when he was with the steelers....Too often he wasn't used enough as a weapon with us

Rodgers is more mobile than Cousins.

I would rather have Geno Smith than Cousins, but I still think AR is coming back.

The weird thing to me is the Falcons have 2QBs that haven't shown they can stay healthy for a season in Penix and Tua, yet they let Cousins go. I don't think any of those options is great. But what are they doing? I would have kept Cousins like a Flacco vet in the QB room just in case. They were talking about this on the radio this morning so I'm not the only one confused with the Falcons moves.

I guess they wanted out from under his salary because he did a decent job last year. Based on numbers anyway. 5-3, 10 TDs, 5 int. One game he threw for almost 400 yards and 3 TD’s.

I was thinking he was much worse than that but was probably remembering his first season back from achillies injury where he was horrid.

And what most won't say, Tomlin kept 6 of Cowher's coaches.

But it fits the Rooney treading water while looking like you might do something model.

But for those who want to see Will Howard play, seems to me like you'd be hoping for Cousins. Because he shouldn't remain the starter for long IMO.

He has cans throwing to him and inept idiots calling plays on offense.. tough for any receiver to succeed. The potential was always there, just a shame we finally got to see it on a different team

How many of you saw that Tua was available and cringed inside with a bit of fear? lol......I know I did. Then I thought that in the Tomlin led Steelers, we would have absolutely picked him up. Under McCarthy, I don't think we would. Moot point now as the Falcons grabbed him (thanks Falcons!).

I'm happier with Pittman now, IF they use him to play to his strengths which is over the middle making the tough catches and moving the chains, I'm tired like many Steeler fans of watching endless boundary throws.

Pittman should be that chain mover, and a danger in the red zone.

Luckily their price tags don't require you to count on them. Both guys are in the category of "if this guy pans out at all it's a real steal".

That is a rough one (Cousins/Smith). Much like a trick question.....Would you like to be punched on the right side of your face, or the left side? How about the option of neither? lol

I'd rather go with Kyler Midget.
