I saw this coming. But, what can you do when the NFL insists that all O-Lineman have the same Tag Value?

I am curious to see if Tate drops because of his Combine 4.53 time.

We were talking at work this morning about the combine and the metrics they generate. At certain positions they make sense like 40 times for skill positions but if you have a 6'5" 325 lb Olineman and he has a bad 40 time what does it prove other than big men aren't fast in a sprint. The high jump good at establishing a baseline but at what point will all the factors be the same as the combine to see how high you jump in skin tight athletic wear and no pads. Steelers have drafted some of the fastest guys in the draft who amounted to nothing. Currently CA3 was supposed to be a burner and he has to fight through press to even begin to run away. My rant for the day lol.

For OL and DL they care more about the ten yard split.

The only 40s I'm ever interested in is the DBs, and Wrs, most everyone else if they are running 40 yards , it's probably not a good thing.

    Did you really want Willis?

I wouldn't have hated it if they got him, but no, you cannot fairly say that Khan has been sitting on his hands today after trading for Pittman and re-signing Samuel.

Seattle is very much the king as there isn't a singular weakness associated on that roster that warrants concern... as far as players go. Klint leaving will be a big litmus test to see if they can repeat but beyond that, there is little reason to assume they are the favorite. Just because someone is "very much" something doesn't mean that such a gap is considerable. Chicago and Philly shouldn't be counted out because while the depth isn't there, there is talent on both teams that can give Seattle a good fight. Doesn't mean they will win however; a major difference.

As I have already said, Los Angeles has gotten closer but not by much. Trent McDuffie helps for certain but he alone isn't the only piece LA needs. Gonna need more.

Finally, I still stand by Kenneth Walker III being the engine for that Offense though again, Klint Kubiak has a well earned reputation of running the football and using the rushing attack in creative ways. An Offense can only be as successful as the horses they have; KH3 being a major factor.

In conclusion, Seattle is still very much the favorite going into 2026. Whether they repeat or not is another question all together. Sam Darnold included, there is way too much talent and depth on that team for them not to be.

I will say this though. Losing KH3 will sting but losing Klint will be the litmus test.

I was under the impression he would head to the Giants to reunite under John Harbaugh. Guess it wasnt meant to be. That said, Las Vegas needs Offensive Line help like no tomorrow... and they better get on it.

If Mendoza doesn't receive good protection, he isn't gonna last too long.

Didn't see this coming.. at all. Didn't think the team would be able to get him either. He is 29 and most corners fall odd after 27 so that is worth mentioning.

This all said, I still don't believe this takes the team off of the Cornerback Express for Round One. Only Players I can see Pittsburgh bypassing that position are Peter Woods from Clemson or trading up for Caleb Downs. I still want Proctor but either Cincy or Detriot is gonna get him.

We could still get one. Dean is either 29, or 30. I can't remember. We will still be looking

Jamel Dean has had a very up and down career but a solid #2 corner this should be a good signing

PFF alert! Here's a breakdown of Dean's performance from someone saying he was exactly what the Rams needed. Most of the information is based on PFF ratings, but this guy has been a pretty consistently good cornerback. He has elite speed as well running a 4.30 forty at the combine, so adding a very fast super bowl-winning CB.

CB’s fall off after the age 27

Never heard that one. From what i have read so far this is a really good signing. (Not saying you are implying otherwise).

These moves are putting them in position to draft BPA and not reach.
