I like Walker to the Chiefs, in that system he should be effective.

I would not trade the 49ers for Trent Williams. He was best of the best, but not so much and the value is not there.

I figure Washington was party to running up Peirce's payday....NE was there too but I couldn't see them overpaying.

Rams pick up Jaylen Watson... they are focused on that secondary for sure.

Someone is going to make the deal with Trey Hendrickson... He's on the backend of a career so I hope we do not sport any illusions of grandeur.

Good for Pierce. But...I dunno....I guess I needed to watch more Colts football. Pierce doesn't feel like the guy who opposing coaching staff's turn the tape on and are like "How are we going to stop this guy?!".

Reports, for what they are worth, indicate that other teams offered MORE money.

    Michael Pittman is a Steeler

This is a win for Omar. Pierce went for a ton of money and probably will not pay out.
    Pittman is a solid 2WR
At 6'4" 223 pounds he does give DB's a fit.

It depends on the price we end up paying in this trade.... Pittman is also 28, slightly older than I would have hoped for.

Initial reports are indicating late round pick swap(s).

Knee jerk reaction is Steelers used their cap space to solve Indy's cap issues post-Pierce contract....

I don't know that the Steelers wanted him or if he wanted to play here. All I know is that $22.5 million a year for a young quarterback with some talent is a pretty cap-friendly number. Only time will tell if he works out, but that isn't the $40 mil number everyone was terrified of here.

This is a major signing. Finally a solid #2. Props to Khan.

    Yeah........that was never gonna happen......

Initial numbers seem like Willis got about the Justin Fields contract with just one more year thrown into the mix.

Almost like the NFL follows patterns and stuff.

We need a QB and CB pretty badly. Interested to see what they do.

But all the doom and gloom fans said the Steelers were only going to go bargain basement shopping in free agency .

I believe he follows the former Steelers DB coach to Minnesota. Most likely the coach who not only developed him but helped keep him on the roster while that process played out.

    Yep!!

I truly believe that this is the year @S.T.D@S.T.D gets his wish!

Very likely targeting or even trading up for a Cornerback in Round One. Pittsburgh still has the ammunition for it. If, and only if, Mansoor Delane is within striking distance, trade up for his ass.

Best Corner IMO since PS2 (Patrick Surtain II). PS2 is an All Pro Level Corner. Don't overthink it; just get him.

If not him?! Colton Hood from Tenneseee is an excellent second option. He and Peezy Jr would frustrate the hell out of opposing Wideouts. Haven't forgotten about Jermod McCoy but I have to see what he can do at his Pro Day.

I was thinking Pittman might be available after they re-signed Pierce to that big contract, good job by Khan getting another veteran WR we know Rodgers likes those vets ;).
