    True.

That said, while the cap hit, along with a potential out, is a very good security blanket for the Ravens, it all still falls on Lamar. Given what he has shown us the past couple of seasons, it is very fair to assume that this is basically his last shot. Either Lamar will win the Super Bowl or he won't; no in between.

I can't imagine any team trading for Anthony Jamarcus Richardson unless he's willing to switch positions. He could be effective as a TE, FB or H Back hybrid.

    It's not Rodgers fault.

I want to draft two rookies and them duke it out with Howard. Lets get the youth movement full-steam ahead.

Howard, Allar/or/Nussmeier/or/Beck (3rd round) and Haynes King (later round) going at it all July/August with coaching 18 hours a day.

With a guaranteed contract, the signing team pays him if they release him, even if he signs with another team, they are on the hook for that amount less whatever the new teams pays him (Russell Wilson).

If he is traded, the new team pays the guaranteed salary and is on the hook for all future guarantees. According to the news, Richardson has been given permission to seek a trade. Assuming he doesn't get traded, he'll be back as Daniel Jones' backup.

Agree with the youth movement. However, I’d like to keep Skylar Thompson as insurance. Going into a season with essentially three rookies and a new coaching staff is a bit risky

It is Rodgers faul, he should have the decency to tell the team what he wants to do.

Why two? that's a waste of resources.

Rodgers is a FA in the off season

    He owes nothing to anyone

    No one owes him anything

I don't think he'll be first on this list. But I do think he'll be close.

Over $28MM / year with 4 new years IMO.

Of course, you keep Isaac, Kenneth, and Pierre with reasonable offers. Aaron isn't going anywhere. The Steelers have a real need at LT, WR, CB, ILB (Mack), NT, and QB. Survey says... trade Mason, KJohnson (I'll take a 6th), Queen, and TJ Watt (I know, I f'n know the Ruiney's care more about legacy than winning)... for as many picks as we can get in 2026 and/or 2027. Damn... I'd package TJ Watt and Queen if I could.

The Dolphins have traded Minkah Fitzpatrick to the jets for a 7th rd pick.......
The Jets, in turn, have given Minkah a 3 yr $40 million dollar extension

Poor Minkah going to the Jets, at least the $40 million should take some of the sting out of it.

They still have to fix their offensive line, which gets a lot worse without Linderbaum.

The Jets may have just saved the Steelers from themselves. I was worried they were going to bring Minkah back and continue signing too many players that are old, slow, and declining every season with age.

I love Minkah and everything he did with the Steelers, but he has been on the wrong end of a lot of highlights the last several seasons. I wish him well, but the Steelers need to get younger and faster.

Sounds about right. I mean since his breakout season with the Steelers has 2 total INTs in three seasons. Steelers were fortunate to get out of that contract.

You and many others on this board are still operating under the belief that Mike Tomlin is still around..... the new staff has no such ties, familiarity or loyalty to any former players
