It looks good, but I would have used a pick for DL.

I am not sold on Concepcion. I am not saying it is a bad pick, but IMO he won't be as good as hyped. I like the Hurst pick at 99. That is great value. Beck was a good pickup.

I used your mock simulator from the site you used for player profiles. I assume you used it for your picks. I chose expert setting. I rejected all trades.

I had to pick Hurst early because the WRs were flying off the board. I was surprised Taaffe and Davis were available so late. Styles at 21 was a bigger surprise.

I didn't want to choose another G, but Stephens was the BPA at 159.

River with the last pick is a steal. The site rated the River selection an F. Haha.

There were no QBs available that were worthy. Beck was there at 135, but I chose Taaffe because he is rated as a top 4 safety in the draft. Kilgore was available also at 135.

 

If they can get Carson Beck at 159, by all means I hope they do so.

 

If Sonny Styles is there at #21 then that means he must have blew out a knee at the combine or robbed a bank in broad daylight. Even then I don't think he falls that far.

 

i hope the FO does double dip at WR and possibly S in this draft. IOL would also be a place i would double dip or at least grab a OT in the mid rounds that had decent tape in college that is projected as IOL but can maybe cover OT in a pinch.

i wouldn't go QB unless someone like beck or allar fell pretty far where it's almost a no-brainer to take a flyer on him.

i think DL is an important pick but not sure it is as important as some of the other positions. ILB i would look for as well.

i think CB would be a good place to double up on if not WR or S. the perception at the moment is that CB is deep so maybe a later pick as a double dip.

I’m not a fan of Konception at all. I would prefer Boston or Cooper over him and would either draft a CB or move back in the draft and try to land Cooper if one of the top 3 wr’s aren’t there at pick 21.

 

Boy you’re loading up on NT with 2 not sure that is realistic. Any draft with Allair in it is a terrible draft in my mind. I really ho-e we do t waste a pick on him. He has no field awareness or processing ability and is terrible in the clutch. He is clunky and unatheleoc in my mind.

 

I don't disagree on Allar. Every time I saw him play, he came up small. Only reason I picked him where I did was to get that arm in camp to see what McCarthy and Arth could do with him.
As far as 2 NT, I see a defense that is getting a little thin depthwise (as well as older), and see talk about moving Benson off of NT to his more natural position. Probably not realistic, but as an armchair GM I'd build depth on both lines.

Might be pie-in-the-sky, but it's something to think about, at least for me.
