Why, is he from West Virginia? Lay off. Many people’s incestors came from there.

    Mac Jones is 27.
    Kyler Murray is 28.
    Malik Willis is 26.
    Will Howard is 24.
Ty Simpson is like 35 or something.
    Rodgers is 112.

All of these are not good options. Neither is Rodgers.

Like I said, time for MM to put his money where his mouth is. He claims to be a QB whisperer. Pick your guy and whisper away.

    Seals the deal for me. Any QB that dreams to go to the Browns shouldn't be on the Steelers draft shortlist;

Not many NFL Draft hopefuls at quarterback are eager to play for the Cleveland Browns. Ty Simpson is not one of them.

The former Alabama quarterback named the Browns as a “dream” destination while attending the NFL Combine. Simpson and his family have longstanding ties with new Browns coach Todd Monken.

“I think I’d be in great hands with the team that they have and the organization, and then coach Monken, what he does with the quarterbacks and the offense is super quarterback-friendly and I think he’s going to coach me hard if I’m able to go there and I know he’s going to do it the right way,” Simpson said, via Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com. “So I’m super-excited.

“My dad and coach Monken go way back. They talk often. He texted him when he got the job and they’ve texted a little bit (since), so if I had the opportunity to play for the Browns, it would be a dream come true.”

Simpson’s father Jason attended Southern Miss, where Monken was head coach from 2013 to 2015. Jason Simpson has been the head coach at UT-Martin since 2006.

    This makes sense

Starting the year with Howard makes no sense

    This makes no sense

Will Howard was hurt August 5 +/- and never played in a preseason game

He was not outplayed by anyone

And what they did with him and Skylar in IR shows you they had no intention of putting him on the practice squad

Brice don’t believe every clickbait you read

I remember this foolishness from last camp

I hate to tell you this, but there are people watching practice counting every snap and recording the result of every play / throw. So, Will Howard can be out played in practice.

    Nope

    He wasn’t there long enough

Especially when comparing a rookie to vet

    He was not out played

We will see his he does this year if he actually gets to show himself in camp

Steelers basing their whole strategy on whether a 42 year old enigma deigns to play football again...

Rather than what they would have done before last year and tear it down and start the rebuild.

So, at least 1-2 years wasted, and now a 62 year old retread comfort blanket HC, for another delusional run at the playoffs for Arty Flanders, rather than beginning an new era with a bright up and coming HC.

Steelers are getting this all wrong IMO.
