Well, Klubnik and Nussmeier had disappointing seasons just like Allar did.

But, do you think his Dad is looking at him? Offensive Coordinator for the Saints.

I think the most pro ready QB of that list has to be 6th year senior Carson Beck. Be curious to see how his maturity plays out this week in Indy.

Last year I was all in on taking Qwen Ewers in the 3rd round, this year it will be taking Carson Beck in the 3rd round.

Ewers fell all the way to the 7th round but did a decent job after replacing Tua as the starter. Maybe he should have gone a lot earlier.

Yeah, I think it is funny. Right now the people in Pittsburgh and Miami are pushing for their 6th and 7th round draft picks to be given the starting QB job this year. I guess at least the people in Miami have seen some In-Game action from Ewers.

I was high on Ewers coming out of college, because I believed he was the reason Manning sat the bench in 2024.

3 reasons why Quinn Ewers should roll into 2026 as the Dolphins' starting QB
Could this be Brock Purdy 2.0? Or the optimal path to someone better...?

We saw how his maturity played out after the championship game. Not shaking hands after a loss is a Belichek move.

That is a "in the minority" opinion for sure. The tape is why I think he's a bad prospect. Particularly when he wasn't playing the Purdue's and Villanova's of the world. He looked awful against the best competition. There isn't much there that I like aside from his size and his arm. Basically, the things he was born with... The rest of it is a hot mess.

Ewers and Howard were both far better prospects than where they were drafted. I honestly thought that either of them could have been day 2 players. Howard fell because of a bad combine throwing session, though, I am not sure why Ewers fell.

I would take Allar or Beck, but in the 5th round or later. I could possibly say the 4th depending on how the draft has gone in terms of positions we picked and which are left to be filled.

I am against Simpson even if he is available in the 2nd or 3rd. He is 6', 1" with an average arm and only one season under his belt. He faded at the end of the season when teams figured out how to defend him.

For what its worth Allar was dropping long ball dimes at the Combine. I wouldn't have an issue late 3rd early 4th.

He also had a formal interview.

Given how well he looked at the Combine, I expect Drew Allar to be drafted much earlier. How much earlier I cannot say but definitely no longer in any round below 4th. As I have been saying since 2025, there is simply way too much talent and potential to work with along with the pre requisite traits for the Position.

If he can get his confidence back while having a good Coach to teach him, Allar is going to be one of the biggest steals of the draft.

Will the real Ty Simpson please stand up
    Looks a lot like Delhomme
Simpson only had 15 starts in college

He also never had a good receiving core except for TE Warren.

He does have a better track record with developing QBs than Magic Mike
