If the Steelers cheated like the Patriots, they could've beaten the Rams in the Super Bowl ;).

Well then how did they get Ben? An unfortunate season losing organically. That's what i'm talking about.

Did you watch the Texans game? And we would have beaten the Super Bowl teams on a "Good" day? Where was that "Good" day against the Texans ?All the while Stroud was trying to give us the game! How did AAron play? Yea they would have won. He was beaten all day long. He is scared of getting hit and struggles against solid defenses. So lets bring him back for some more beatings.

Would have taken the Steelers best day and Seahawks worst day for us to remotely have a chance.

In reality, Rodgers would have been carried out on a stretcher against that defensive front.

How sad and pathetic the Steelers are waiting on an answer from Ancient Aaron again. Steelers need rebuilt from the ground up and it looks like the same ol' same ol' is what we're getting.

Seahawks on their worst day still beat the Rams. They would have crushed the Steelers like bugs.

Yeah, the QB position is totally irrelevant to a discussion of football. I'm sure McCarthy will make us a legit contender with Rodgers as QB. Nice to see we're totally committed to rebuiding a team that was horribly mismanaged for a decade. By the way, you failed to make a point other than making a pathetic personal attack so you are the whiner, boy.

Lip service, of course they are going to praise him but they also said he is an unknown at this point. If they were so sure about him they woulnt be courting Rodgers and wouldnt be looking at Allar and other QB’s.

However, it’s not just the Steelers that think Howard has promise. People outside the organization have said the same.

He’ll get a chance to compete and it’s up to him to seize the opportunity.

His scouting report stated he didn't look off Defenders and he didn't read his progressions .. AR and MM are the perfect fit teaching him to study film put in extra time with WR'S basically work on his mental game ..I think MM really does believe in him , but knows he needs to sit and learn more ..

I don't think MM likes Mason I haven't heard him say 1 good thing about him..IMO he is the guy who will not be on the roster ...

I have no doubt he likes him, he has good skills and prototypical build for a QB. I think you’re probably right that MM wants to work with him for a year before throwing him into the fire.

Lip service probably wasnt the correct phrasing, the point I was trying to make is what do people expect them to say when asked about a specific player? Of course they are going to talk them up. If you listen to Khan he thinks everyone is the cats meow when asked for his thoughts on a player.

Oh okay sorry .. I don't think MM is the smoke blower that Khan and our previous Coach are ..I actually like Will a lot as well ..Giving him time to learn will give him the best chance to become a good QB. I actually think we will move up and draft his friend ..Him and Tate are still friends .Tate is a good route runner , great at tracking the ball downfield he is my #1 WR ...

The Howard thing had a lot to do with PR after a hugely unpopular hire, I'm not saying MM doesn't like Howard, but come on, it's all a bit too convenient right after the hire, and it worked because it got fans on board just with a little bit of hype about a 6th round QB.

People need to use their critical thinking skills when a huge multi billion operation speaks to them. You have to look at WHY they might be saying what they're saying.

How can we calm the waters and change the narrative?

Oh I know....nothing is going to do that faster than hyping a young QB as the future...

I would like to see what the Colts would take in trade for Seth Henigan. The Colts have an interesting thing going on at QB right now. Do they bring back Daniel Jones? Did Riley Leonard show enough when replacing Jones last season? They don't seem to want Anthony Richardson anymore, letting him seek a trade and all. Surely Rivers is done now. They signed Henigan to a futures contract. I would love to get Seth Henigan with McCarthy and Arth for a year and see what can develop.

I think Mason could be gone if they draft a QB in the mid rounds along with Rodgers coming back. They usually like to have a vet as the backup QB if they don't draft a QB then just keep Mason.

They will want a vet backup

    He is going nowhere

Seahawks beat Steelers quite handily. Steelers had to win the turnover battle 5:1, in order to beat Patriots.

Been wondering about that. It was just excepted that he would garner that size contract. With 6 starts it doesn’t seem realistic.

His agent probably put that number out there.

If no one is going to pay him that, then his chances go up for the Steelers landing him. I’d rather have him than Rodgers and let MM work with Howard for a year. If Willis doesn’t pan out, you hopefully can move onto Howard or 2027 draft pick.

Of course they could still take someone like Nuss or Allar this draft, neither of whom would be ready to start this year. Same plan, roll with Willis and develop the guys behind him.

MM doesn't like Mason as far as I can tell .. MM has stated he likes to send his QB to the LOS with multiple plays it stands to reason he has seen enough of Mason not checking out of bad plays or sliding the protection correctly..

If MM really loves AR and I think he does and he is intrigued by Will I think he makes Will the #2 ..Mason can't save the season if AR goes down, and he dang sure isn't the future..
