True for Manning but it was a miracle and the Broncos defense had done a all-time carry job

Brady was still a top 3 QB in 2020 and 2021.He had back to back 40 TD pass season in his first 2 years with the bucs.

Current Rodgers is much closer to old Manning that old Brady.The best comparaison for Rodgers is Roethlisberger in 2021

 

AR needs to dive on the ground and give himself up more often and then pop up and throw first downs.

 

Well our biggest 2 weaknesses are Scoring and stopping the run IMO.. MM will put a better Offense on the field even Kahn finally admitted the WR room was not good ..
When I coached we had some down years in run stoppers we just didn't have the size on the DL , we tried all kinds of things none of them worked until we changed our approach on Offense.. Score the ball faster , get Teams down and then our smaller DL became a asset as they where fast and created pressure..Plus Teams tend to abandon the run when behind..

So fix the WR room and get more DB'S and get some picks to move up with next year in case we dont think Will is the answer..I hate to , but we may need to give up this years first ?
I think a lot of Teams will want ammo for next year so we may have to package some picks move up and take some other Teams guy.. At this point we could leverage some early picks in 2027...

I prefer we move up and draft WR , I actually want 2 , but having ammo net season could work out good as well..

I think you are on to something with the defense. It is in transition. It was or still is perhaps? A defense focused on rushing the passer and creating turnovers. That worked well when the offense held up its end and could put teams in situations that allowed the defense to thrive. Now? I think fewest offensive plays ran per game or something like that. Low time of possession. And not putting up points against higher quality opponents. Allows other teams to just hammer them in the run game.

Peyton did. . Brady actually helped his team. Peyton won his with no tds, and 2 turnovers. Not a easy thing to do.

 

Yep I think so and it also forces the Defense to keep more LB's on the field which creates more mismatches when the opponent passes or goes PA...

The good thing our Team does have going is we have 2 highly capable RB'S who create mismatches in the passing game we need better WR'S to use that more ..We also need to be creative with our Offensive packages ..I would like to see a Jumbo and a NASCAR set with split RB'S and the Near and Far concepts..

If we can run with Mt. Washington , Pat and Metcalf the Defense should be bigger and slower creating more big play potential for our RB'S in both the run and the pass game...

We don't have the players for the NASCAR yet , but those speed guys run routes that open up the outside runs, swing passes,Flat passes and Circle routes and the Screen game both to RBS and WR'S .. This would force more Nickle and Dime and force a smaller Defense on the field now your RB'S have the edge in power in the open field and Metcalf would as well , he fits both packages which is really rare...

I hope MM is the script plays from multiple sets type and tries to find the set that does the most damage ..We need at least 2 WRS to able to run multiple sets, heck we probably need 3 ..Of course the more Quality the depth the more effective those 3,4 and 5 WR sets can be.. Of course Gainwell can be used in those he looks fluid as a route runner and a pass Catcher so we could flex into multiple from the 2 RB look and still have a running or PA option...
