If you really think that Rodgers would be returning with any possibility of having to be a back up and mentoring another QB or two then you are seriously confused. He will be starting if he returns and should he be replaced during the season he will create all kinds of headaches along the way. It will be the number 1 headline daily on ESPN. Steelers have a big problem at the QB position and it started several years prior to last season. The FO screwed this up back around 2022 and maybe even before.

 

By signing McCarthy they basically did. I wanted them to blow up everything and they pretty much threw a snap pop on the ground at it.

 

FO as in Rooney. And it started with Roethlisberger's last extension. Coaches and Kahn wanted to move on, Run-It-Back-Rooney said otherwise.

He stayed very healthy last year against all odds. Not happening 2 years in a row at his age.
