No, I look at Milwaukee Reds St Louis Same size Cities and see their payroll
And think why can't our ownership afford a payroll like these teams. You could add Cleveland in the American League.

I was just kidding with you but I certainly feel your pain, having been a left field bleacher bum at Forbes Field (2 or 3 Trolley rides from Castle Shannon to Oakland). At least they managed their 3rd all time Cy Young in 2025.

When I was in little league we sat in RF at Forbes and watch the Great One .They were
Called knot hole tickets at the time. Get the green weenie, we had them all the way!

This guy needs to keep speaking to supporters so that the Pirate win every single game.

As for me it takes me back to my youth and 3 rivers stadium (where magic moments happened). I still follow them even though I hate the owner and the no salary Cap MLB empire.

What dooms the franchise more is no salary cap. I was listening to am sports radio yesterday and a guy said that Dodgers star players will fake an injury just to take a 2 week vacation during the season and know the team won’t miss a beat.
