I couldn't stop listening to this today.

 

Did they ever officially change the name ??
Because I remember them as Iggy Pop and the Stooges, but I can't remember if they were actually called that at anytime.

 

My favorite SB halftime show.

 

Im not sure. I want to say they did,but not positive. I feel like the first couple records were by The Stooges and subsequent records were Iggy &

 

The album cover alone was a killer. Certainly a wide diverse array of styles and tunes on this album. I always loved it.

 

I Loved it as a kid, and my uncle turned me onto it, but the last two years I've really gotten back into re-Loving it.

 

Funny how Fripp and Steve Howe are 2 of the most odd guys for playing the styles they do and being in the bands they are/were - if you didn't know them you'd think in a crowd they were ministers or tax auditors. Fripp still wears a vest and tie last I saw him a few years ago.

 

Two awesome players, I believe that they both are their own people, and their playing shows it. They don't need fads, they create fads.
