It's going to be Rodgers, I won't be responsible for my actions if they bring in Kirk Cousins or that midget from Arizona.

Malik Willis is the only QB out there that holds any interest for me, in what would be a 2022 draft do-over.

Looking at this years QB draft - don't bother. We already have an untried young QB on the roster. Wait until a better crop next year.

I don't disagree. I do remember the same sentiment prior to the last draft though. Just wait till next year when the class will be better.


What makes this years draft more interesting for me is the question of how will this version of the Steelers approach needs and how they value positions.
We had the thing with Tomlin and dinners, we had which prodays would all the decision makers attend, and pre-draft meetings at the facility typically carried much more weight than meetings at the combine. Gotta find the new pattern now.


As for QB specifically, we currently have Rudolph and Howard under contract for next season. If ARod decides to come back for another season, we probably have the same QB room as last year. If ARod officially retires, all bets are off and it looks more like taking a swing in the draft, FA, or both. No way to predict it right now.

That would be Malik Willis also, but for a Qb he's a midget with a small head, and people are being tricked by him like we tricked the Jets, the media, and their fans with Fields. They just knew because of how he played in Pittsburgh, he had turned his career around. LoL

 

Since it looks like Cousins will be cut, I could see a 1-Year deal, maybe 2 but it is not likely as Cousins wants more than he is worth.
I would ONLY try to sign him if he accepts a 1-Year deal which is in the event if I know I cannot draft a QB this year.
Even then Jones or Willis would also be off the board.

So, no, I don't want Cousins.

 

I am no fan of Willis... I think he is only slightly better than Murray and Tua.
Geno Smith is also likely to be on the market... that ought make folks gag.

 

That's is also another player that people thought had turned his career around, and in all reality, it was a blip on the radar.
This is why one, or two years doesn't make a player.
