Jim Martin the original guitarist for FNM hated Angel Dust so much he left the band. He called it a gay disco album. I have to disagree.... it doesn't sound like a Village People album to me.

I heard he left for a totally different reason. The reason I like it so much is its all over the place. I believe to truly play what you feel, and hear in your head is that way, and not trying to force oneself into a certain sound, or genre. Do You know how many tunes people have asked me to write more stuff like Gunfighters Moon for example, and I try explaining I don't work that way nor do I want to.
