I dont know about the wiping the floor part but they took the path many of us were hoping for with a reset. My critique for the Ravens is I would have hired Weaver as HC and Minter as DC.

Right now though, at least on paper the Steelers have the best coach in the division.

OL first and foremost. I'm probably in the minority and think that the OL needs another tackle and really could use upgrades at both guard positions. Can't fix it all in one draft though...sigh.

The line is pretty much set, they’ll draft or sign a guard.

I think this draft will prioritize the Dline and backfield as well as WR.

TE I think they may dip into free agency, pretty good FA group.

They should throw a ticker tape parade for him the second they score more than 7 points in the first qtr. I see that happening sooner rather than later.

Steelers have now gone 69 straight games scoring 7 points or fewer in the first quarter.

We last did so during Week 1 of the 2022 season against the Bengals, this is the third longest such streak in NFL history.

Added to that, if they call anything Lamar Jackson doesn't want, they know they can be fired.

Imagine that. The drop off as Ben got older, and then gone.
Not trying to be a d!ck, but I can do this to about every franchise after they lose their Qb, but the difference is , most just don't make it to the playoffs then.

IIRC that was because of a Minkah Fitzpatrick pick 6 of Joe Burrow... the offense kicked a FG to get us over the hump LMAO

I can't imagine that McCarthy asked for an OC but was told no because he was too expensive. In all likelihood, the Steelers were willing to pay for whoever McCarthy picked for that role.
What I can absolutely see happening and does happen is McCarthy doesn't get the number of coaches he would like to have. We typically have a smaller staff than most teams in the league.
But not a chance they're going to tell McCarthy he can't hire who he wants at OC due to money.
