    This would be awful.

Also if they move forward with this then take gambling out of football. The can of worms that would open.

Saw it before with PI. Hardly ever overturned because the refs don’t want to admit their mistakes

Not that I’m basing this on any past history but I don’t see anyone taking gambling out of football or anything else

I wonder if this would allow New York to get involved in "Bad" calls? Calling down and telling the Ref, that no that wasn't roughing the passer on Mahomes. Maybe making all QBs have to start playing by the same rules.

I'm fine if this is to correct egregious misses on non-judgement calls... Like facemask, or tripping, or something like that. I would hate it if it started making any judgement calls though. Roughing the passer is a pretty weird one, since there is a lot open to interpretation. There isn't for a facemask lol you either grabbed it or didn't. Tripping? You either stuck your leg out or didn't. It all comes down to usage and the flags they are allowed to throw. If it comes up once every few games or so, then whatever. If it is 3-4 times a game... then no.

When the games were on the radio nobody questioned the refs

I think it will suck. How do you even celebrate a TD as a fan anymore. TD! Hold on, gotta wait a few minutes to make sure.

Imagine a big score and then oh wait, reviewing, no, sorry no TD, roughing the passer.

Of course they wont. Was just highlighting how ugly thats going to get. People already think there is shady stuff going on with betting on games.

Adding roughing the passer after the fact is brutal. Only way I would reconsider if they also overturn the terrible roughing calls, but I won't hold my breath. 3 out of 30 hip drop tackles being actually called is pretty bad. I would like to see the statistics on holding calls, lol.

I think the one thing we have going for us is the PI review thing that happened a few years back. It was a S#!tshow and really poorly received. I have hope that they will be more restrained with a new "review". I doubt they go back to the PI challenge can of worms that was. If a TD is called and there's an egregious facemask missed that gets corrected, oh well. It was the right call.

I wouldn’t mind a challenge of a penalty flag. But I don’t want to see penalties added after replay.

I thought that was how we as Steelers fans have always had it???
We scored. They look at it from camera angles they seem to not have when we need it, and view it 6 or 7 times, and when our opponent scores , one replay. LoL

It’s the roughing the passer that will get sticky.

But even the facemask could be ticky tacky, they wont all be yanking the guys neck around.

yeah, but aren't all "grabbing the facemask penalties" supposed to be called as long as the head is pulled? I think its pretty easy to see a grab and pull. It certainly is pretty black and white to me.

The roughing thing I hope boils down to hits to the head and hits below the knee. The black and white parts of it. I wouldn't like them to call the "landing on them" part, as that can be subjective.

I don't love the idea of replay flags, but a facemask and hits to the head/below the knee would be at least acceptable to me....

I dont think they are going to go back and review plays for penalties, I think its more to review called penalties on the field.
