Would be awesome to find our next "LeBeau". If that's even possible.

The names being suggested at DC are...mediocre. I hope McCarthy isn't thinking safe and looking at younger assistants that have been studying under good DCs like Fangio or Schwartz or a few other notable mainstays.

Did Wade Phillips have any notable assistants as he always seemed to have top 5 or 10 defenses. The DC is the most important unknown right now, with QB a close second. I hope the hire is an aggressive DC, not another bend and break and let em catch passes wide open 5 yards past LOS defense. I'd like to see more man coverage and definitely more tight, bump-n-run coverage that always throws off timing routes. That keeps QBs from the two-step drop and toss, making them go to a second read and greatly increasing the chance for a rushed mistake or a sack. Having DBs 10 yards off the WRs is idiocy in a quick-throwing league.

I said as soon as we hired him and everyone was crying , it would only take a couple days for people to come around.
All of these other hires are no better than the Steelers.

This is what he does all day, never adds nothing of any value whatsoever, but just runs round the board trying to police it, crying about anyone being critical - and generally making a fool of himself.

    He's just old and cranky.

I put C, but I got let it play out. Nobody knows for sure. Not You, not Me, not anyone. It could be a great move, or it could be horrible. We shall see. As a Steeler fan, I hope it's a genius move, and I'm totally wrong for giving it a C grade.

You mean Like McVay did this year. I thought it was funny people complained about us barely winning a game with a bunch of turnovers , and like weeks later the highly thought of offense HC S. McVays team turned around, and did the exact same thing. LoL.

Are you claiming some sort of equivalancy between the Rams who just lost a NFC title game in a nailbiter to the best team in the NFL, and the Steelers who got blown out by the worst QB to disgrace the playoffs in years?

    LOL.

No. I'm comparing a regular season win to a regular season win. Is that too much for you to understand. Neither game I was referring to was in the playoffs, so why would I be talking about the playoffs???
You do know there is a 17 game regular season before the playoffs.

Oh so your're not making any point whatsoever, just telling us that two teams both won a game with a bunch of turnovers?

    Thanks for that...

Reading comprehension is not a strong subject for you huh??
Instead of going back through all of this, just go back, and read it all .....very, very, very slowly, and sound out the words, and think of the meaning of each word. LoL
Highlight anything you don't understand, and I will try to help you with it. LoL

Just showed how us poor the Steelers really were. Which is what they looked like for the majority of the season really.
