Depends who you believe. Rooney tells a different story.

Watching Cowher and his preferences as a coach over the course of his career, I believe he wanted to take Andrews.

I think he is worth it. He has proven he can coach. I think the Ravens maybe like us in a few years wish they still had their old HCs

Are they going to end up with Deion Sanders to coach his son again?

Not even close. Ben ran it about 35 times a year. Allen is over 100 times a year average so even if You add in sacks, Allen is getting hit way more a year than Ben ever did. Plus now Allen is having surgery.

Yeah he did and yes we have been over this and yes I have posted what Rooney said and what Cowher has said and once again, it’s who you believe.

    You clearly believe Cowher.

    Sorry but no:

""Our people seemed to have focused on Shawn Andrews, a big offensive tackle from Arkansas as our likely number-one pick. But when our turn came, I couldn’t bear the thought of passing on another great quarterback prospect the way we had passed on Dan Marino in 1983, so I steered the conversation around to Roethlisberger. After some more talk, we came to a consensus and picked Roethlisberger." - D. Rooney

Allen has played every game since 2019,so he is a tough QB...I think he has at least 5 good years left if he continue to stay healthy

    Why not?!

It's the Browns. Never say never when it comes to them.

Amarius Mims and Dylan Fairchild were solid hits for them in back to back seasons. It is the rest of the Offensive Line that needs the tune up; specifically Center. Nabbing someone like Logan Jones from Iowa would go a long way for them. There is also the Tyler Linderbaum route as well but I would imagine Cincy will lose that price war to another team.

Every time I see something that Fehoko says, it's always wild stuff that seems to just be about getting noticed.

I guess this is his plan on how to make money after football.

I hate media people that just say wacky stuff to get clicks or to just get attention and don't really believe what they say. I want nothing to do with people like that. I avoid them like the plague on TV or streaming as well.

I think the bigger point is that we as fans form opinions based on a fraction of the information that the team has. We also tend to treat coaches as video game players, basing strictly on numbers without considering all other factors - one team scores a lot, another team doesn't, so the X factor must be a better OC, and that OC should be the next man hired to be the HC of a team.

Those same guys then flame out in a new place because there is more to evaluating a coach than judging the success of his previous unit.

    Browns new HC, Todd Monken.

Think that leaves two teams that need a HC.

The Rams duo might not get a job after all.

He’s under contract with the browns

    Money is not a factor

Unless you are thinking the Steelers will pay the Browns :lollmao:

I suggest reading again, what was written that I quoted, and what I said.
    Then come back.
Nothing you said stops the Browns from giving him more money to make him happy again. Whether he is under contract, or not. Just like it doesn't a player that is already under contract.
I don't know what made you say Steelers. I was talking about the Browns.
