Personal preference, which is fine. Moore and Manning will definitely be in the running for QB1, they're both super talented and I like both of them as players a lot. Sellers won't be a better prospect than Sayin unless Julian has a really bad year in 2026 (like bad enough to come back to school bad). Basically its like choosing between Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, and DeShaun Watson (pre-massage) in styles. Its just whatever you like best.

I'd be more than happy if other QB's went ahead of him though. It makes it more likely the Steelers end up with him (which would be excellent for us). If you like QB's that win in the pocket with their brain and arm, then you'll love Sayin. He has a good arm, lightning quick release, elite accuracy and ball placement, and the best processor of defenses to come out of college since Burrow. His only knocks are his size at 6'1'' and 208 lbs, he's an average athlete, and that he hasn't shown elite improv skills. He's basically another Drew Brees. Idk. I like his game a lot. He's NFL ready now, and coming off another season run by Arthur Smith as OC, he will have played in an NFL offense with NFL schemes. He will walk onto whatever team he gets picked by week 1 ready.

As of now PFF, CBS Sports, and NFL Draft Buzz (the 3 draft sites I tend to look at) all have Sayin as the frontrunner for QB1... and all of them have both Sayin and Jeremiah Smith as top 4 overall prospects. I know a lot can change between now and next year's draft, but the consensus is that Sayin is a really strong prospect and if he has another good year, will likely hear his name called early (potentially first overall).

Yeah, his size and athleticism are average but you think he will go top 5 . You're letting your fandom get in the way of analysis, if Sellers rebounds with a good year he will probably go top 10.

He's considered one of the best prospects at QB in regards to accuracy and ball placement since Burrow.... So what if he's average athletically. He's a sick passer. He doesn't have to be a Madden "Create a character" to be really good with his throwing ability. He won't be Josh Allen, but he could be Drew Brees. That's not too bad at all lol

I listed 3 sites that have him as the #1 QB and a top 4 overall prospect. I know you don't like him very much, but he is actually currently considered an elite QB prospect for the draft. Its not a fan thing... its actually how he's being viewed at the moment.

So do Shanahan and McVay. They seem to produce a lot of up and coming OC candidates who go on to HC rules.

True but those guys are usually promoted from within over time then get a shot. Maybe in a couple years someone who ends up on Mccarthys staff will do the same but I don’t think he’s getting a good one to come over to start. We will see.

I watched him play plenty of times he's nowhere close to Burrow, he struggled when he was pressured against Indiana and Miami he's more of a product throwing to Smith and Tate.

Again, that isn't my opinion, that was an opinion of a scout for one of the draft sites for the Burrow quote regarding his ball placement and accuracy. You can have whatever opinion you want to have.... All I was trying to say is that all the draft sites I look at (and value the opinion of) have Sayin as the #1 QB and a top 3-4 prospect in the entire draft. You may not think he's that good, but the people who scout these things for PFF, NFL Draft Buzz, CBS Sports, etc. all do. I don't know what else to say.... your opinion is fine lol I'm posting the opinions of people that write stuff on draft sites. There's still a whole college season ahead of these guys before the 2027 draft.

He needs to start with a pass game coordinator or run game coordinator who hasn’t been an OC before and groom him. I’m more worried about who he hires at DC. Would love Schwartz from Cleveland if we could steal him.

He Played better than Rodgers in Cincinnati game. The game was kept close in second half by keeping it safe and not throwing over the middle per Tomlin's strategy. Ask any QB, that in order to get into a rhythm, you have to throw it frequently. That would handcuff any QB. He had a bad final throw, but previous throw, receiver Austin clearly ran inside when he should have gone outside with no timeouts and 20 some seconds left. Sam Darnhold was a back up and washed up too until he got in a right situation. You throw him back to Jets and he is a bum again, just like Aaron, and Geno Smith were. Interestingly Geno Smith is a bum again after having found success in Seattle. I say draft a qb, have an honest training camp battle. Whoever wins, start the season with him. It will probably be Rudolph, based on his history of doing well at training camps. If it is Rudolph, start him. If he struggles or gets injured, bring the rookie in. This way rest of the players know they are not throwing the season away. They have won with Rudolph. If rookie starts despite not being good at camp, it sends a wrong message. If the decision is to have rookie start no matter what, trade Rudolph away, and have Howard and a drafted rookie compete.

He is settling for Graham because the guy has such a fantastic track record with the Raiders.

Rudolph's biggest flaw as a QB is lacking that sense of pressure in the pocket. He's simply not all that elusive.
