It's funny. I read a piece written by a psychologist about social media and its impact to society. One thing he brought up was "the public now treats the lack of social media posts on a subject is now viewed as a decidedly negative thing.", i.e. no news is bad news. Not sure how we got to that point.

 

I think Mike McCarthy needs to lose 100 pounds.

OK, I will ask the Etiquette question. If a player were to come out and say how thankful he was to have Mike McCarthy here as head coach, would that be seen as a cheap shot at Tomlin?

Every time a player goes to another team and post about How Much he loves his new team, coaches, facilities or whatever, everyone seems to think that it is a cheap-shot about his old team.

AKA, As much as you want to welcome the new guy, do you really want to all over the old guy. Trust me, everyone single podcaster out there would use the welcome to the team post as Click-Bait to say that the player posting was trashing Tomlin.
