Assume they say something glowingly positive in whatever PR outlet they choose either collectively or individually...why would anyone believe it is anything more than cliche nonsense? Exactly. We don't need to hear from the players thoughts on the new coach after a tough end to the season. They want to keep their jobs while others need to hide under a rock, like Jonnu Smith, who needs to be cut or shipped out.

That doesn't matter. The fact they didn't all grab the microphone and start chanting McCarthy's name means they all hate him and we're going winless next season.

I prefer they don’t but the years have taught me they’ll catch up and opinions will abound.

One can argue, whether you like the hire or not, as of now he’s the best head coach in this division. He’s certainly the most proven.
