    for us.. lol.

I know they got Sam Darnold which makes a difference but sheesh. Seattle played the hell out of us with that trade.

Jaxon Smith Njigba (Ohio State) makes all Seahag fans forget all about DK.

    ??

Seattle has JSN + a TE and WR that barely cleared 500 yds each receiving this season. DK had almost a 1000 yds last season. Darnold made the difference, not DK.

I mean.. its right in my post.

but what did we get with DK? A big WR who fights fans and misses critical games and gets stupid penalties at the worst times during drives.

Seahawks 6th in total defense, 10th in pass defense, 3rd in rushing defense

Patroits 8th in total defense, 9th in pass defense, 3rd in rushing defense

1this would suggest that the Seahawks are not a SB team with DK still there, and I don't think that's true. There are many things to complain about on this team, and DK had his moments both ways, but I don't think he is a guy who would take away from a winning team.

BTW I was not a big fan either way of that move so I'm not trying to defend a previous position.

DK is not a #1 WR he doesn't run great routes , he is not good with the ball in the air ,he has iffy hands ..He is more of a short yardage WR his best skills are after the catch maybe we should experiment with moving him to RB like GB did with a WR years ago...

Khan has proven he hasn't got a clue wit WR, he has made a complete mess of it, and we still have th worst WR in the league.

So the worst WR group in the NFL and no QB and we hired MM - make it make sense....

Steelers got their tails handed to them by Seattle in week 2. Seahawks have looked Super Bowl caliber all season long. Of course, there were some down weeks... but overall they were the most consistent team, other than Broncos.

AR ...and moving up in the draft and getting some studs at WR ...lol... no more College Offense where every Defense knows the play..We will actually design a scheme meant to score the Football...

We'll see. What we know so far is AR is only taking us so far, and that Omar Khan hasn't clue a clue what he is doing at WR. He's a been a disaster in that regard.

DK wanted to get paid and he got $60 mil guaranteed, 4 years. Seattle was okay with Cooper Kupp for $26 mil guaranteed, 3 years
So yes, it is not a good look for the front office, under Tomlin.

How were they both third in rushing defense? Was it a tie?

The WR room is one of the easiest to fix either sign a vet in free agency and draft one early, or draft two WRs.

I wouldn't have given Kupp that contract he looked washed with the Rams.

Why? They didn't go because DK was a problem. They went because Darnold is a hell of a lot better than Geno Smith and they had another really good WR on the roster in Smith-Njigba.

They didn't play us at all in the trade. We got a good (and still young) player for a second round pick. They had a replacement on their roster already and upgraded their QB room significantly. That team's roster is a lot better than ours in a lot of places.

But Tomlin is so great with all the players in the league and probably promised him a puppy

DK Metcalf looked far more washed than Cooper Kupp plus without the baggage. I hated the trade from day 1.

Kupp had less than 600 yards this season and 2 TDs, Metcalf had 850 yards and 6 TDs despite missing two games .

Not a huge fan of DK, but it's a lot more than the DK thing. If they are like most NFL teams , at least a 1/3 of the roster is different.
