Yeah He was so right that two Defensive HCs are facing each other, and he , and You keeps preaching about offensive minded HCs. They are all at home. It also doesn't change the fact that Vrabel has lost to Tomlin every time.
Just like when we went to the SB the last 3 times, we didn't have to face Belichick .

However, the Seahawks have a superior defense and if darnold can play the way he did in the NFC Title game, it's likely gonna be a blow out.

 

Agree. Kudos to Vrabel for taking advantage of a rare window of opportunity (weak schedule, backup QBs) when it was opened to them.

 

When I bring this up, and Andy Reids demise because of it , he's says it wasn't a dream team, but when You bring it up he give you a winner. LoL

Also more proof as I've said before that if a player can keep themselves in the game they will get better until their bodies betray them. Problem is, how much better can they get.

Did you listen to the James Harrison podcast stating Tomlin was a good coach not a great coach and how he stripped down the defense (Lebeaus Defense) to get rookies on the field. It really ex-loans a lot from someone who was there and loved it. He also exposes Tomlins cattiness.

Those flaws were glaring and they became more exposed when tenured good coaches from the Cowher regime left and when Ben got older and wasn’t the same.

 

Hmm. Belichick wasn't the same without Brady, Andy Reid this year couldn't score more than 13 points a game with Mahomes, I can do this all day.

 

So you won’t listen to what Harrison had to say? I guess you know more than he does. Yeah I get that Harrison has some negative history with Tomlin as have other players. But he seems to be pretty straight forward in his observations. It’s worth a listen.

you proved my point with Belichick and Reid. They won multiple SB’s with their franchise QB’s, how many did Tomlin win with his? You walked in to that one.

I never said I didn’t like Tomlin. He was a good coach. He had his weaknesses like every coach does. It was time for a change.

Stroud was just as bad against the steelers that he was vs pats...The pats win by 12,the steelers lost by 24 points
Never easy to win in Denver come playoffs time....Belichick-Brady was 0-3 in Denver come playoffs time...Tomlin could not beat Tebow

Sometimes Tomlin struggle to take advantage,like he was 0-4-1 in his last 5 games against team with at least 8 games .500

You would a point if they would been one and done in the playoffs but now they are in the super bowl,the rest is just noise

 

I don't think Vrabel care much about the week 3 matchup when they had outplayed the steelers like crazy....They've improved tremendously as a team since then... The Pats also lost to the Raiders at home in September,so the september football can be very random

Wrong, Stroud was worse against New England throwing 4 interceptions in the first half including a pick 6. It's a lot easier to win in Denver when you're facing a scrub QB like Stidham who made like two good plays the whole game.

 

Stroud had 5 fumbles in Pittsburgh....He was awful

 

The Steelers didn't recover all 5 though .

 

Seattle is playing excellent ball right now and Darnold had a great NFC Championship game. The Hawks should win BUT ITS STILL SAM DARNOLD. I would not be shocked if the Pats win number 7.

 

Stroud had 3 turnovers vs steelers and 4 vs Pats...My point,it was that Stroud was almost as bad vs steelers that he was vs pats but the Pats take advantage of that but not the steelers since they lost by 24 points...Not hard to understand

 

And the crazy part is he really hasn’t even played that well overall in these playoffs. They have won because of the defense and horrible opposing QB play.

 

It's still tough to play in a bad weather against elite defense(like the last 2 games), especially when you're a young QB

 

For sure the kid deserves a lot of praise for his poise and making enough plays to beat very good defenses but he has been a game manager at best in these playoffs so far. He will likely need to do more to beat Seattle unless Darnold sees ghosts on the big stage.
