The luckiest Super Bowl run ever Bo Nix gets injured on the last play of the game setting up a FG .

Everyone can pull out random stats and stuff about every Super Bowl team from the last 20-25 years... The Patriots don't care about that. If they beat a great Seahawks team, they'll deserve to be champions.

I guess the 1999 rams were not a great team because of the schedule?...What about the 1972 dolphins, they face no playoffs team in the regular season :shrug:

they had a favorable schedule in the playoffs. Damn shame we didn’t take care of business.

on another note, wtf is a catch in the NFL? Kupp did not survive the ground but the refs acted like it wasn’t even worth reviewing.

I like both teams in the Superbowl. I love how the Patriots after back to back 4-13 seasons went and got a franchise QB in the draft and made a great hire as HC. But I root for Sam Darnold after being kicked to the curb by terrible franchises he stuck with it and had a great game to lead his team to the Superbowl.

I thought the same thing at the time
Would that have been a td if it was in endzone?
    Likely would like to know

If Tomlin had taken a Steelers team to the Super Bowl under the same circumstances you would be praising him for "taking care of business" and "winning the games he should win". The hypocrisy with you is real.

It helps when your team doesn't have many injuries to key players.

Notice which teams were least injured??

I hate the Patriots but as to their cupcake path to the SB, they didn't make their regular season schedule up and they had no control over injuries or what QB's they went against.

That said, IMO the best team in AFC is the Broncos with their starting QB. I'm a Bronco fan this season sticks in my craw for a few years. Kind of like when Jacksonville smoked us. That bothered me for awhile.

Darnold proves that being in a good situation is very important for a QB.

He was in an awful situation with the Jets and Panthers, but in a situation like the Vikings and now the Seahawks, where the coaching and players are much better, he's much better!

Sometimes organizations like the dumpster fire of the Jets fail their QBs.

Ima predict the Patriots will suffer a beatdown similar to the 2024 SB with KC vs PHI. Seahawks defense is every bit as good as Denver while their offense is far better than a Stidham led one.

I agree. Had Bo Nix been healthy the Patriots would have already been done.

It’s impressive that the guy keeps improving on his flaws. He keeps overcoming everything. Last season ended badly and everyone was saying same old Darnold, wilts under pressure. This season hes turned himself into a complete QB.

I want to bet the house on Seattle but have gotten my clock cleaned the last two weeks. Gun shy!

    But I’ll probably do it.

Go Seahawks! The last thing I want to see is a Cheatriot win!

Keeping us tied in Lombardi's is paramount.

The answer to that question gets more confusing the more they tweak the rule

I'm hoping for a retro-1980s style game. In particular SB XX, 46-10 with the Pats on the losing side.

I just don't want to see NE over take us as the franchise with the most SB wins, so...I'll definitely be rooting heavily against them. It's also why I always root for whichever team has the fewest rings in any SB matchup that doesn’t include the Steelers – no matter who that team is.

While I want the Seahawks to win, I'm not so quick to dismiss the Patriots defense. If they can keep the game close, anything can happen.
