Quite a few posters mention that they'd prefer the Steelers each season to be really good (12+ wins, for example) or bad enough to get a decent draft pick (like the 12th spot, for example). They don't want the 8, 9, 10 win purgatory. Seems like those fans would be at least okay with the kind of seasons he had in Dallas (and more than okay if he had more playoff wins).

He is correct, they went over this exact stuff when Je was hired in Dallas, and then later fired. It was talked about on many show from ESPN to Fox Sports. I can't give a link because I listen when I was working.

 

Actually he isnt. In his press conference Che said he lied to jones about watching every Dallas cowboy play from the 2019. If you read the quote he got together with coaches to learn about analytics and what other teams were doing in the nfl. Notice how it doesnt mention the Dallas cowboys

I'm only telling you what I heard on the radio at that time right before his being hired in Dallas, and right after his firing in Dallas.
I don't have any proof of what they said, or what they said was correct, but it was covered on both ESPN, and Fox Sports. That's the only two sports stations I listen to while working.
