If Chris Shula is chosen as next head coach there is potential for complete disaster. If Flores is chosen as next HC, his qualifications and experience eliminate the potential for complete disaster.

 

I would be okay with either one of them, but they can't miss on the OC hire.

You must be white. That’s the only reason someone would suggest before the rule the most qualified person always got the job.

The truth is before AND after the rule, some teams will still hire terrible coaches who aren’t qualified. Matt Patricia and Matt Rhule are prime examples if hiring an unqualified coach. They were terrible hires.

The issue before the rule is a lot of minority coaches couldn’t even get an interview to prove they were qualified.

Don't worry. Brown skinned people will be deported eventually anyways. Hell... my ancestors are from Wales and I'll probably get deported there. I guess Wales is better than El Salvador or Honduras.

I just asked Grok that I think we should have a thorough search, dot every "I" and cross every "T", and that we should take our time and interview everybody but at the end should hire most experienced and qualified, Flores, and that was the response I got

 

I was joking. I agree.... everyone should be equal, but voting rights and individual liberties shouldn't be flushed down the toilet. And the racism of past generations shouldn't be ignored... likewise with who won the Civil War. It was the Union...President Lincoln, etc. The Confederacy lost. Some of the dipsticks in here were criticizing coaches last week that aren’t even hired yet. That’s how bad they are.

 

Nepotism is also a big problem in the NFL leadership circles and their hiring practices. Lots of guys getting hired because they have the right last name or their old man helped out someone else's kid that one time.

I have to admit I also like his last name. I give an edge to a player or coach that has grown up in an NFL Family.
