I voted Howard. I would like to see what he brings to the table. Stand or Fall.

I know what the Reindeer brings. Good back up to have around. Remember when he was supplanted by a Duck?

Willis was all the rage with a small sample size. I 'm not in the all the rage category.

But until we have a Head Coach all is a moot point

Was just having fun with your Rattler reply

I voted for Howard but if they go after Willis I’ll like that too.

In theory this is probably correct but when you are drafting and there is a QB on the board that you think is that guy, you have to draft him.

Then what maybe you can do to stick to Bens formula is sit the guy a year, dont rush him.

They will not even remotely go into the season with Howard as #1

A FA is quite likely almost guaranteed

Ben should stick to podcasting and stop trying to be GM, you keep drafting a QB until you find the right one.

Well, I don't think the Steelers will be seeking out his advice on how to run things.

Regarding Ben's opinion on building a team first, then inserting a QB: We've been without Ben now for 5 seasons. How many seasons is it supposed to take? That we don't have a reasonably good offense to plug a new QB into is the fault of ?

i hope it's not willis. i want to see howard and i hope they draft altmyer from Illinois. i'd also re-sign skylar thompson and see where this all goes. do the bridging with guys that know the team as it is player wise and it will be new to all of them scheme wise. player wise will be the only familiarity. i'd keep that part of the cohesion together.

I think AR comes back and is probably the best option.. We need to draft 2 WR'S early so AR can teach them how to practice how to study and how to run routes properly...He can also help Will with reading Defenses ,calling audibles ,sliding protections, things of that nature and maybe even let Will have some packages and see how he is coming along .

Then if Will looks the part we can spend our Draft capitol on more WRS and DB'S ...Most Teams have 2 #1 WR'S we dont even have 1.. We have a #2 and a bunch of practice squad guys ...I would target Carnell Tate we will have to move up to get him, and Denzel Boston he will probably go around 15 to 25 i think..both these guys have height, speed, good hands, good route runners , and know how to get off press coverage and find holes in zones...

In your world is DK not a member of the 2026 Steelers? MY head will spin if we trade away DK; it will mean for the 3rd straight year the Steelers have traded away their #1 WR from the previous year.

I want the Steelers to go all in on WR in the first round, but I don't think they need to draft another WR after that.

It would take a lot for me to quit watching the Steelers, but bringing Aaron Rodgers back in 2026 might just do it.

It's not terrible. McCarthy would be a good coach to have with a young QB. I would prefer him as OC/QB coach, but he's been HC.

No keep Metcalf ,but draft 2 WR'S as we need 2 to run 3 WR sets ,less multiple TE sets ...Plus all those guys can learn together and build chemistry...Carnell Tate our future #1 Denzel our future #1 B and Metcalf becoming the big Body short yardage WR Curls,Smash routes, Quick slants, routes that take advantage of his Size...
