Albert Breer called the Mike Tomlin resignation and said Chris Shula was the guy. I think that’s gonna be the guy. Unless he screws it up.

ESPN sources: Titans are working to finalize a deal to hire 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as their head coach. Saleh spent Monday in Tennessee with the Titans, and the two sides impressed each other enough to move forward together.

People can change and learn for the better.

 

Fans are hating on Flores but he's one guy who might be able to help Watt get back on track.

 

but we are not turning the sacks and turnovers into points. TJ won't play forever so hiring a coach based on that is crazy.

 

Well, Flores wouldn't be just helping Watt he could help the overall defense. Look at what he did with the Vikings defense, and the Steelers are more talented than them.

 

what did he do? they didn't make the playoffs even. we need offense over defense as you said we are more talented. the offense needs to score more points more often.

 

They had a winning season with maybe the worst QB room in the entire league. Now their GM and HC were responsible for going with these lousy QB's but Flores wasn't involved with that.

 

Well, Flores would need to hire a good OC if he was hired the same as Chris Shula who fans seem to love .

 

If we hire McCarthy and bring back Rodgers to try and recapture the Green Bay magic from 16 years ago then I hope they lose every damn game this year.

No thanks to Mike McCarthy. That would basically be hiring the same resume as Mike Tomlin. An additional problem is we don't have a Quarterback. I don't want a tired retread, we need a younger coach with more energy.

 

Doran Dickerson on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh made a great point. He said you have to look at what gummy worm Rooney II said during his presser after Tomlin stepped down that they will always be competitive and a Rebuild is not in the cards. This is why he wouldn't be surprised if they hired McCarthy and keep the non losing streak in tact.

So playing it safe is to keep the non losing season streak is to hire a fossil to keep that train rolling? The Rinse and Repeat will continue and it would be a colossal mistake. I want to get a young up and comer. Shula would be my choice.
