    This.

All the more reason that the Bills and Ravens are far superior options at present than Pittsburgh. If anything, Baltimore's Front Office is either among the best or is the best in all of Football. That said, Josh Allen isn't a QB that comes around too often as he is the complete package.

Neither team will have limited options when choosing a Head Coach.

And what happens if the 2027 QB class fizzles out like the 2026 class did.

I’ll admit I was dead wrong about 2026 so I guess it’s possible but some of these guys like Arch have to come out in 27.

I disagree that they are the better options.
As a first time HC you are going into a place that didn't fired their HCs for not winning, but for not making a SB. They will not be happy with making the playoffs.
Both teams will only be happy with making a SB instantly. And guess what??? They can't both make the SB at the same time. That is a $hit ton of pressure on a 1st time HC, hell any HC. I think teams like Cardinals, or Titans would be way easier to coach, and way less a headache.

Both NFC teams are capable of beating New England in the Super Bowl.

Faie enough, but I don't see the Steelers being bad enough to get a top 5 pick.

We will only know at the end of that season. To guess anyway is exactly that, a guess.

Agree about the pressure but come on those teams both have MVP level QBs. I know the Steelers have a strong tradition and patient ownership but both those jobs are much more attractive than Pittsburgh with NO QB.

I certainly don’t have a ton of trust in Sam I see Ghosts Darnold in the SB. Rams maybe.

I didn't say Pittsburgh. Go read again. I will bet money, They don't get to a SB in 3 years both will be fired. I think it's a terrible risk, and neither Qb outside of the regular season has proven they are what they are in the regular season. There has been many a regular season MVP players not make the SB

If they start Mason/Will all year they could be a 5 win type team. That might get you a top 7 pick or better. Trade a few draft picks and you could get the number 2 or 3 prospect.

    I said Cardinals, or Titans.
Because all You gotta do is just be better than they have been. No pressure for a instant SB.

I actually think Bills, Ravens, and Steelers are the most pressure for a HC than any job in the NFL right now.

The Cardinals and Titans wouldn't be for the simple fact that neither possesses the patience of Ownership nor the structure or capability in the Front Office that both Buffalo and Baltimore provide; particularly in Tennessee's case. Yes, the Titans have Cam Ward but this is the same Amy Adams Strunk who fired Mike Vrabel; the same Mike Vrabel who will be Coaching in the AFC Championship Game.

As for the issues with the Cardinals?! That entire Organization doesn't even have an identity and much less a Franchise QB. Unless there is a Head Coach that can create a culture like Mike Vrabel or John Harbaugh, it would be best to avoid Arizona all together.

But neither demand a SB right off. They just fired their HCs for not reaching the SB because they believe they have SB Qbs.
How long do You really think they are going to give the new HCs??
Like I said they can't both win one in the same years.
I would bet 3 years tops the HCs last if they don't reach a SB, and one year will automatically gone because they can't both reach it at the same time.

    Pressure creates diamonds.

As an NFL Head Coach, you are already under immense pressure as it is. Some owners are less patient than others. Never mind them, fan bases will always call these men out to be fired for any number of reasons. Hell, some Houston Texans fans want DeMeco Ryans out even though he has been to the playoffs in his first three seasons while acquiring three wins.

Cornerstone Franchises like the Steelers will have an even greater level of pressure given the expectations of such teams. Super Bowl or bust. Be that far or not, that is what aspiring Coaches sign up for.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have more faith in Pittsburghs abilities to find the next Head Coach but I cannot deny the limited resources the team has in comparison to its rival in Buffalo and doubly so in its arch nemesis in Baltimore.

That isn't the Owners fault. Head Coach has to get results quickly. Fair or not, that is what the Modern NFL demands. Now, me agreeing with this Ethos or not is a different discussion.

However, the rules that be are the rules that be. Owners want either instant success or pretty damn close to it. The Chicago Bears are both the best and worst example; best because Ben Johnson turned the Bears around all in one season but worst because Chicago already had a plethora of advantages available to them before Ben Johnson signed off.

Not every team is in instant SB or bust mode like the Ravens, and the Bills. You know they aren't. Some of those teams would just like to start off with a fee winning seasons in a row. That is not how it will be Here, and especially in Bills, or Ravens where they think they have SB Qbs.

Not every team is. I get that. However, Owners don't care.

Most of them care about is butts in seats. That equates to money. If a Coach cannot do that?! He will be jettionsed.

In addition?! There really isn't a single Owner nor Ownership group like the Rooney Family. For that matter, there never will likely be one. Closest one I can think of would be Robert Kraft. That said, we will see about him and how he feels about Mike Vrabel in the coming years.
