Big Ben saying Hines Ward would be a good hire in some capacity with the offense. I would love to have him as Wide Receiver coach and let him grow from there.

"Is there a former Steeler that's coaching who would be a good candidate? I think of like Hines Ward. Hines Ward is out there in Arizona State coaching, doing a great job out there," Roethlisberger explained. "Maybe it's something where it's like, 'Hey let's give him a shot.' Maybe not as a head coach, but we encourage you to bring him in, you know, as an offensive coordinator guy."

 

I like ward (go dawgs), but his HC XFL was poor. even down to clock management. therefore the legit would be WR coach.

Let's just hire Ben as HC and Hines as OC .

 

Hines is my favourite player of all time, and I'd love to see him on the staff in some form, but because Big Ben said it, I'm suddenly skeptical.
I pretty much go with the opposite of whatever Ben says most of the time. He's a blow hard.
