    I'm voting under $10M.

With the history of the Steelers hiring first time HCs from relatively unknowns in the coaching searches, I'm not expecting one of the high profile guys that might demand more from a bidding war type situation.

I wouldn't mind one of the top guys. I have voted for Chris Shula in a couple threads on here already. I was impressed with the play calling by Joe Brady during the game yesterday. I just don't feel like it will be one of 'those guys'.

I voted over. The average HC in the NFL is about 6-7 million, but because so many people have told me our HCs are unlike other HCs, and ours HCs apparently......scout, hire all the other staff, draft , hire all our FAs, call all the offense, Defense, and ST calls......
So I figured they deserved more money.

I did. They'll pay the new guy appropriately and we'll see how many coaches end up on the entire staff.

Depends on how long they have been in the league and the consistency they had being successful:shrug: in their position

    Under.. maybe over with incentives.

One of the benefits of hiring a younger coach is nit having to pay top dollar.

Now if its Flores it might be over but if its a first time HC they will be able to pay under $10M.

Over. Ben Johnson got 13 million a year and Liam Cohen for around 12 million.

Steelers new HC will probably come in under that but still north of 10.

I went under because I figured that the new coach will see the long term value of coaching for the Steelers?
Who knows though. Can’t wait to find out who the new guy is and finally have some excitement surrounding this team.

    LOL, You little Basterd!!! :)

And, I of course went under, as I believe they will be hiring someone under 40 with no head coaching experience.

Actually $10M maybe the over underline of “no head coaching experience “ vs “having head coaching experience”

I suspect some Numbnut will say the Steelers hired a guy who had no experience because they were “too cheap”

My money is still on Brian Flores being the "Kmart Blue Light" special that the Steelers can sign on the discount because of his pending litigation with the NFL.

The Steelers should be able to bring in Flores for around 7-9 million and that would be a huge bargain, because of his NFL experience.

When you find something you want, that has been discounted 50%, is that being "Too Cheap" or a smart shopper?
