That will certainly put us in line for the first pick in the 2027 draft.

Mac Jones played really good for the 49ers this year. Plus his is still young. That would be my choice. I do not think we would have to pay him a ton of money IMO. Definitely not Cousins. Willis might be a decent option but who knows if he just had 2-3 good games with the Packers and he reverts back to the backup.

You’re only tanking if you don’t try to win…

Rudolph or Howard will earn the record they get.

Let Rudolph and Howard battle it out and we likely get a very high pick next draft and get a QB. 27 is the year we start our return to glory.

Mac was impressive…some said he should have kept the job when Purdy came back.

The Steelers are never going to intentionally lose games for draft position.

That just shows how overrated BeliCheat was. He has done nothing after Brady. He almost ruined Mac Jones's career.

    Rooney’s say they don’t tank.

    Also Rooney’s:

Mike Tomczak is our starting QB
Jim Miller is our starting QB
Kent Graham is our starting QB
Tommy Maddox is our starting QB

We should at least kick the tires on Colin Kaepernick to see if there is anything there.

Kirk Cousins getting 67 million is just frigging wrong.

Oh I agree with that. But I do think Cousins could scratch out a 9-8 record if that's what the top brass wants.

But I thought fans were tired of that it sounds like some of them want to lose to get better draft picks.

I think it would be better to go 7-10 with a young QB who improved through the season rather than scrape out a winning record with another over the hill one year rental.

I actually liked the AR signing because I thought there was enough talent to make a run

    That didn’t work

    Time to move on

I have to say I'm really intrigued by Howard...he might be Mac Jones without having to go out get Mac Jones.

Just the fact that he was known for his legs in college and he is the same height/weight as Josh Allen. That can buy him some success in the NFL early on until he gets the rest of the job down.

I thought he was pretty average early on in his last season of college, but he really dialed it in during his playoff run, so I don't know what to make of him?

He really loves football, and sometimes guys like that will not be denied...case in point: Tom Brady.
