    1. Find Head Coach
    2. Replace both coordinators and o-line coach
    3. Re-sign Asante Samuel
    4. Trade Patrick Queen
    5. Intensely scout safety prospects
    6. Due diligence on OG prospects

Finding a Qb should be a priority also. Im not crazy about the idea of rolling out Rudy or Howard.

Samuel isn't a priority in fact I would let him walk; the Steelers secondary is too slow draft a stud CB to pair with Porter Jr.

I wouldn’t think so no. Maybe the Jets or Browns would??

This Steelers loyalty to a fault mentality is really hurting the organization.

Trading away Patrick Queen all but signals the Steelers would be aiming for Sonny Styles. That said, given how Dante Moore is not declaring (which is something I have said now for months), perhaps that isn't too bad of an idea. Biggest issue though is where Sonny lands.

Again, talents like Sonny come out once every 5 to 7 years; probably 10 given just how rare not just a Linebacker but an athlete he is. Whomever selects him will have a bona-fide badass quarterbacking the Defense. He is just that damn good.

My Pro Comp for him was Brian Urlacher. I am standing by that until proven otherwise.

As far as players, Khan and the new Head Coach need to make the Quarterback position a priority. They may not find a franchise QB in the next draft, but there needs to be an actual plan that does not involve shopping for washed up free agent QB's from a discount bin. That plan should be to improve the O-Line and make sure we have a quality coach at that position.

The organization failed to groom a successor for Big Ben, then failed consistently to replace him, failed drafting, failed in free agency, and failed to come with a coherent 21st century offensive system to even compensate for not having a franchise QB.

An elite defense is not enough, even with the recent shift back to running the ball, without a QB that can run or pass to pick up 3rd and 4th downs, any defense can be ground down.

I am going to say Quarterback and O-Line are offseason priorities. The latter will greatly help the former.

As entertaining as it was listening to Tomlinisms for 19nyrs, I have to take a quote from Bill Cowher....
You can never have enough good corners

that has to be the first pick assuming a worthy guy is there.
I don’t know why you are so infatuated with Sonny Styles or whatever his name is. I watched half his highlate tape and turned it off. Nothing special at all. With that being said for us to ignore the wr position one more year is criminal. I happen to be a defensive first type of guy by the way. I’m no fan of Queen but I believe our scheme wasn’t friendly to him or Wilson and we have not been great coaching the ilb’s. Perhaps a new scheme and coaching will get a lot more out of the ilb group. They could start by actually getting a real NT that can occupy multiple blockers to keep our ilb’s clean. Benton needs moved to Cams position he is to small to play NT.

This isn't something you can fix in just one offseason. Especailly with new players and new schemes on both sides of the ball.

    Agree to disagree with Styles.

As for NT?! Peter Woods is someone you should want. He isnt just the rare three down NT. Dude is a qusai generational IDL. He would also be a Day One Blue Chip as well.

If not him?! Dominique Orange from Iowa State isnt a bad second option.

Well you know what doesn’t work? Picking up QBs that are 40 and washed. We need to draft QBs till we find one.

The Stoudt, Malone, Brister years were brutal years. We always had a good hard hitting D but proved you need a blu chip qb. Kordell gave a brief hope then pain. o’Donnell as well. It may take a decade to find the next qb. That would suck. We cant settle on that position or wait forever to pull the plug like we did with Malone.

Let the new HC put his stamp on the team. New coordinators. Get the team younger in a hurry. Be willing to take the hit for 2 or 3 years. We need a total rebuild. An overhaul. Best players available. No priorities this year. Get what you can. Fill in the gaps once you have a foundation in place.

I'm reading this thinking "that sounds like a guy Tomlin would like" and then "Oh. It doesn't matter what Tomlin would like anymore."

Sonny is pretty damn malleable not matter who the HC is. That said, a creative DC would absolutely take his game to another level.
