Link? Interesting that you trust someone that has the first-team All-Pro ranked No. 30. There are lots of folks putting out those sorts of evaluations, most of them unreliable.

Silly me thinking they should have taken the first-team All-Pro.

Mr. "Everything is Tomlin's fault" thinks I'm stuck on a narrative.

Talk about recency bias Fautanu had a playoff game, so he was a terrible pick .

SIS is a legit evaluation service that's been in business long before it was fashionable. They serve all the major leagues, not just football.

He was anonymous for almost the entire season. Which is no bad thing for a OL.

He was part of a line that was inconsistent, at best, in the running game and struggled to protect Rodgers. He covered for those weaknesses by getting the ball more quickly than at any time in his career. That wasn't his only terrible game this season. The Chargers abused him. So did the Browns in Cleveland.

That makes him nothing more than a middling lineman with upside. What makes him a terrible pick is that he is still inconsistent at best while the guy they should have taken is an All-Pro.

How does serving Major League Baseball or the NBA help them evaluate an NFL cornerback or offensive tackle? It doesn't.

Did you skip the part where they do business with the NFL or just chose to ignore it??

But you can ignore when Mitchell had a bad game against a non-elite WR .

Starks appeared in 10 games as a rookie, none were starts.

Colon started two games as a rookie to fill-in (can't recall who got injured). Those were the only two appearances he had on the season.

part of a young line, yes.

still think COACHING stunk. But I'd argue an OLINE ranked around 8-10 in the league. Not bad. Top 1/3.

and you have an OC that cannot scheme well, the OLINE will suffer, i think even you can understand this.

personnel lacked at WR, we can all agree. DK sucked, we did not expect that.

You were the one who brought up that they are used by the other sports as if that somehow made their football analysis more reliable. It does not.

You're the one interpreting my words. Never said it makes them better football analysts because they do other sports. I said they are a legit business serving major leagues and doing it for a long time.

Wow, what a "pick me" post.... :hehehe:

Jokes aside, it is a proposition that could have had better results for sure.
And #76 was a turnstile. On one set of downs, all 3 downs his man got pressure deep in the offensive backfield. I was surprised when Rogers didn't just send him to the sidelines.

I can't do anything about the past but I do hope that the future sees no one from that coaching staff of 2025.
I would love it if I didn't have to see Omar as well.

I think any hope of that ended when Rooney said he and Khan would be leading the search for the new head coach.

Mostly agree on your points. Especially #2 and #4.

    Mainly agree on point #1

Disagree somewhat on point #3. No doubt Watt is slowing down a tad. He is not all pro anymore, but he still makes impact plays -- Interceptions, forced fumbles and sacks. He is among the league leaders in QB pressures too. He missed some time this year due a lung issue. Part of what made Watt great was near superhuman stamina, which was taken away by the lung isse this year.

Getting my mobster movies mixed up, thought Jimmy Two Times was a Johnny Dangerously character. Wonder who I am thinking of from that one :hmm:

If he likes Mitchel thats fine but he’s off the reservation about Troy. It’s a comically bad opinion.

It would only be a mistake by the Steelers if Troy sucked or was a bust.

Not sure, but I always remember that line after the bomb in the bathroom goes off: "Calm down? I'm standing here with my dork in my hand!"
