Malik Willis in 2026?

This feels like the best (and most obvious) move at QB.

 

I wouldn't complain if Steelers signed Willis to a 1 year, prove-it contract.

 

Am I hallucinating? Malik Willis? Seriously?

 

He will be available and with Tomlin and hopefully the rest of the coaching staff gone then a young offensive minded coach could do well with him.

 

I’d rather see what Will Howard has to offer. Draft a QB and let Rudolph, Howard and a rookie battle it out. Draft class has a lot of talent from what I can see.

 

I be fine with rolling with Will Howard and letting the chips fall where they may.

 

They picked Pickett over Willis, and now they want him? Lol

Just wait until 2027 and try to draft Arch Manning.

 

Steelers need to hope Tomlin gets courted immediately. That draft capital to get him from another team would be huge.

No retreads or ****ty QBs from other teams. If you are going to get a QB, make sure it’s someone who is decent until you groom the next guy. Whomever that is. No projects from other teams.

 

That would be a win/win situation. If he plays well then great we have our QB. If not then we get a high draft pick in 2027.

 

I have no problem with Rudolph, but Willis has more upside and potential. Willis, Rudolph, Howard wouldn't be awful for 2026. Draft a franchise QB in 2027 if Howard and/or Willis doesn't pan out.

Malik could be on the dockett. Get him an Offensive Mind and you could have something there.

 

As long it’s a free agent pick up not an acquisition.

 

I personally like Chambliss from Ole Miss
I understand we have Howard
Do we keep Mason as our veteran qb?
But I am 100% with you about the elderly and discarded qb situation
Proven to be a failed experiment

 

With a new coaching staff picking Chambliss makes a lot more sense now.

 

Beck gets happy feet quickly when under duress
So I would pass on him

 

Khan will still be a big part of the selection process of players and coaches including head coach

 

As he should be.

 

Tomlin had a lot of influence because of time served

New guy doesn’t get that much

 

I personally think the first 2 drafts with Khan were good
