People need to see a doctor over the viagra induced boner they have over Will Howard. I don't understand it.

Can someone name an tOSU QB that was any good in recent times? After last nights game I'm not sure Stroud counts.

I like Jim Bob Cooter - Lions and recently Colts. Young-ish and offensive minded.

    No. Not true.

That comment wasn't directed at @BigBensBigBong@BigBensBigBong. It was to the Rooney Rule and the Rooney Family. If the Rooney Rule serves to be a roadblock, then it is of no use in the pursuit of success.

    Hire the best. Nothing less.

Obviously that's true. But again, there's a thing called reality. And that's the reality of things.

Huh, now wouldn't Rogers have something to add as a O C.

Kubiak, Stefanski, Kingsbury, and Brady are probably the best offensive HC candidates out there. I would be fine with McDaniels as an OC, but I am not sure he's a HC. If we go defensive mind, I think the Steelers will have interest in Flores, but Minter, Shula, Hafley are probably all options too.

I hope they open it up and interview lots. I know it's likely not a popular opinion, but I like Stefanski and Kubiak for their offensive minded coaching styles. I would also like them to speak with Kingsbury, he has had a hand in a lot of QB developments.

One thing steeler nation can be certain about the final choice will be a coach that shares the Kahn/weidl vision of playing “bully ball”.

Oh I don't know. I could see the 5 Tomlin supporters left whining about whoever they pick sayin' "ya'll wanted this! Hope you're happy!"

I unironically think Gruden would be a pretty based choice.

Have you ever seen me complain about a coach? Do I make up things to blame coaches about or do I point to the players on the field?

Nope. Mile Tomzcak was historically the best at OSU and he turned out to be a very average NFL Qb.

The rule is regarding interviews, not necessarily hiring after interviews. I just want them to hire the best person for the job.

I wouldn't mind seeing Stefanski, with Kingsbury or McDaniel as OC.

The Rooney rule doesn’t prevent anyone from hiring the best.

Tough to look good as an OC when you have no true #1 WR.

Edit: In this game we just lost, seems to me our receivers could not get open much. O-line cannot handle elite pass rush teams.

I think we needed a commitment to a "max protect" scheme and throw deep often in this last game. Running and short passes were schemed out by their defense. Slow grind drives impossible. Can`t run the same offense every week. Have to take into account who you play.

OC learned nothing from Browns game.
