What's Cookin? Houston barbeque edition

Sounds delicious. I love it, but I always dry mine out when I cook it. LoL

 

mine was two 2.5 lb. chuck roasts, salt and pepper, half a can of beef broth touch of olive oil, two packs of baby carrots in a dutch oven on 250 degrees for 5 hours. took the drippings and made gravy and added mashed potato's on side. tonight we have the leftover beef, in gravy on two pieces of bread and more gravy over it and the mashed taters. corn and leftover carrots on the side. we will be eating good it sounds like.

 

I just put a pork loin on the smoker.

Looks like it's gonna be tuna cakes and Mac and cheese. That's what I was just told anyway. If so, I like to mix mine together with a generous portion of Cholula original.

I’ve heard of marry me chicken but never made it

 

My favorite pizza place is closed on Mondays...might go out and get some Peruvian Chicken.

 

It's very tasty. It is made in a crockpot, so not difficult to make at all. You can serve it over rice or with mashed potatoes.

Buckwheat pancakes, Morningstar Farms plant based sausage, unsweetened applesauce, Earl Grey tea (as I missed afternoon tea).

 

Why would a pizzeria be closed on Monday?

 

I‘m not really sure, but David Portnoy visited them and gave them a good review, and they went viral. Its always packed…maybe they need the rest?

 

Now I want to try it.
