Career wise who is the better QB?

Apparently, this is a debate for some...

I answered that too quickly, was thinking the better QB but who is having a better career, you have to go with Hurts, right? Been to two SB’s won one.

Allen is still trying to get there.

Put Allen on the Eagles and they win back to back SB's easily.
Put Hurts on the Bills and they don't even make the playoffs.

Career-wise it's not even a discussion at this point. One QB has taken his team to 2SB, winning one with the SB MVP. The other has never made the SB.

Your caveat in post #3 is subjective.

I have never said anything against Josh Allen as a QB. When he first started his career he was not a great passer. He has a good arm but his touch was limited. He has improved that to almost elite level. I would love to have Josh Allen QB the Steelers.

I don't know why that has to mean Jalen Hurts is less than. As a pro, Hurts has accomplished more. He is also a very good QB. I would love to have Hurts QB the Steelers.

When you say that Hurts isn't on the same tier as Allen, it's just a silly and ridiculous take. It just is. I can't help it that it's all or none for you. Note you seek the forum opinion to back your silly ridiculous take. That's is when it becomes sad.

Hurts had a dream team around him last year...He was still good(but he did not carry the team start to finish).10-15 QB would win the super bowl with the eagles team last year.He is not the best QB in his division much less Josh Allen

In 2022,he was great but he had also a easy road to the super bowl come playoffs time against a very weak Giants team and a 49ers team with both QB out during the game.Credit to him for his super bowl performence but Allen was great in the playoffs against the chiefs in his career but it was never enough

If you start a franchise and you have a choice as Allen or Hurts as QB,everyone will choose Allen and this is not a discussion....This is silly if you think otherwise. This is a classic Stephan A. Smith take. This is that bad

I don't think he would been good with the steelers too,not in a Matt Canada offense....He had a awful OC in Philly this season and it was a big time struggle for him despite the talent he had around him

Allen! And I damn sure am pulling for him to get one.

Hurts is good. Eagles absolutely good but they sure the hell had two easy NFCCG's. Rookie QB's don't lead teams to the SB. San Fran had the last guy picked in draft going into Philly and odds were only Philly-3. Purdy didn't even play whole game. Then the Skins come in with a rookie QB. Philly -6 for this one. Betting the Eagles both times was easy money.

I was in a Casino betting room and so many were putting big money on the Eagles/SF NFCCG.

Josh Allen is a Unicorn of a QB who can work with any system.

Jalen Hurts is a System QB only.

    End of discussion.

Not at all when the question posed is who has had the better career. I can understand why fans would rather have Josh Allen for QB. But that was not the question. Jalen Hurts has had the better career to this point.

That is not how I interpret that question at all.
The question was career wise, who is the better QB. He didn't say anything about having a better career or having success.

Again, career wise, Josh Allen vs. Jalen Hurts is no different than T.J. Watt vs Danielle Hunter. One is a Future First Ballot HOFer while the other will be remembered as one of the better EDGE Players of his generation.

    Josh Allen wins hands down.

    Better QB: Allen
    Better career: Hurts

Ask Allen what he’d rather have, all his impressive stats or SB’s? He wont hesitate to answer SB’s.

And Hurts played lights out in the SB, he wasnt just along for the ride.

I did. I stand by what I said. English is important to me, as is interpretation. Most communication on the internet is slang or just pure laziness and I hate it.
"Career wise who is the better QB."

It literally says over the course of their careers, who is the better QB. It literally says "who is the better QB."
The time frame is specified with the "Career wise" part, but at no point does it ask or say anything about a better career.

Anyway, that's how I interpret it. Everyone is welcome to interpret it how they see fit. I'm not here to tell anyone they're wrong.
