    Ok.

    What is Sirrani good at?

like I’m watching this game and all I’ve seen is him yell at his receivers and that’s about it.

I think many coaches are instrumental in their team winning each week. And several can add an extra win or two to the season total.

I truly don’t think Sirrani is one of them. I think he’s an empty windbreaker.

People say these things about Tomlin.

    We all keep telling you........winning.

Every Tomlin supporter tells us they are winning games because of him.

If you think Sirriani is winning all these games and going to multiple Super Bowls because he has great players, why weren't the Steelers going to handfuls of Super Bowls while Ben was here with strong rosters, All-Pros, Pro Bowlers, and superstars all over the place?

You keep trying to have it both ways, and you just can't.

I'm not going to list Sirianni's record. Here's a link that tells you everything you need to know. If you ask me, it looks EXACTLY like Mike Tomlin's record in his first 5 years in the NFL with a quarterback that isn't as good as Ben was.

    Ok?

I’m not disputing the facts. I know his record and I know Tomlin’s.

I don’t believe that Siriani is a coach that can deal with adversity. His teams seem to be hot and cold and crumble in less than ideal conditions.

It’s possible Tomlin’s teams in the middle of Ben’s career couldn’t deal well either.

I’ve believed it was more a Tom Brady and horrendous injury luck but I’m open to another option.

The existence of the Patriots and Brady is certainly part of it. I still think that they should have been able to do a little more schematically to slow the Patriots down, but I completely understand the point.

We may find out more about how Sirianni deals with adversity. He certainly has his own wide receiver issues with problem child Brown. Maybe that will cool his a$$ down! :lolol:

Sirianni had major adversity and pressure in 2024 after the major collapse in 2023 but he bounce back last year with a 14-3 season(despite a 2-2 start and his seat was even hotter)and winning the super bowl with 3 dominant playoffs game

Sirianni is not perfect, need good OC and DC but he is not Hue Jackson too.Like I said, after 5 years,he has the same career that Tomlin who is not a bad thing....we will see what is next for him

I just have a hard time believing that a coach should needs a security guard on the field to keep him and the players apart is really all that good at his job.

    But weirder crap has happened!

For the patriots and Brady....I am not sure about that. The steelers face the patriots only once in the playoffs in the Tomlin career

The Steelers were always eliminated before facing the Patriots after 2010 (with 2016 as an exception)...it's not a Buffalo Bills situation, who lost 4 playoff games (3 of them very close games) in 5 years against Mahomes and the Chiefs from 2020 to 2024

To be fair, Big Dom has been with the Eagles for 27 years. The Eagles had a jail in the last stadium for a few years!

Sure seems like the Iggles are going to have to figure something out with Brown and Sirianni.

    They just don’t get along.

AJ Brown reunited with Arthur Smith?

Oh, I know. The Vet was a scary place to be sometimes and that was just for Phillies games

I’m almost certainly guilty of what I’m saying others do. I just don’t think he’s a good coach. I think he’s one of these dudes who got a totally over inflated reputation working under better coaches with talented players and then he’s a “good” coach.

Kliff Kingsbury is why I don’t think anyone knows what they’re talking about when it comes to coaches and NFL teams don’t know anything when it comes to hiring them.

He was the innovative mastermind that was going to lead the Cards to glory and take his rightful place as a scheme mastermind.

Then he was an incompetent who lost a locker room and didn’t understand how to navigate the NFL.

Then he was the schematic wizard that just needed to be a coordinator not the head guy.

Then he was an incompetent coordinator who couldn’t succeed.

Now he’s a leading head coach candidate.

Makes it hard to believe anyone involved in evaluating NFL coaches knows anything about it. Especially me!

All I know is that Daniels tore up the NFL in Kingsbury's offense during his rookie season, and he always seemed to put Daniels in a position to succeed.

Daniels has barely seen the field because of injury and when he has played, he has been badly banged up and ineffective. The Commanders defense isn't very good, and they had backup quarterbacks playing most of the year.

People get credit for success they had little to do with, and others are scapegoated for things out of their control.

Welcome to the strange world of the NFL.
