Might as well add Le'veon Bell to this list.

Hopefully these are all minor and more precautionary than anything else.

THere's an article on steelersdepot that recaps today's injury list. Of course it isn't much help as it gives unknown for JJ and Robinson.

I understand that but you have to give these guys a break. I read a tweet they are all bumps and bruises from a full week of hitting. all the hitting does no good if they aren't practicing

I agree besides in my opinion the guys that are sitting out are ones that will be a big part of the 53 man roster. They are in shape but not football shape so after the first week of hitting and being hit they are a little dinged up. Seeing that they have another half week of just hitting each other before their first preseason game I am sure Tomlin is just letting them rest before getting back to the hitting. I think by the time the season starts they will be in midseason form as far as football shape, all the aches and pains of the season will have identified and overcome and they will be ready to put that 8-8 season behind them.

Yeah everyone makes a big deal about bear bryants camp but the thing is the year he really went at them they played horrible because they were wore out from training. The next year he backed off and they started playing well.

whats that have to do with the price of eggs at the giant eagle? this ain't Alabama and this ain't the college game. you can't just redshirt someone. they have to know if they can play. they have a lot of new coaches implamenting a lot of new material this year. they can't just take their time evaluating who can play in this league and on this team. they all looked pretty in shorts.

jeez the local HS has 2 a days for 10 days. I never had a player complain it was to hard and they have a bruise. why should these highly paid athlete's have it easy? it's football. they have done it all they're lives. they should be pretty used to it. it will make them stronger as a team.

And the local high school kids aren't nfl players. Heck even when I was in high school we would go full the first week then no more hitting why because our coach didn't want us injured. No other team in the league has done half the hitting we have.

I don't think that's true. Regardless, that 'bumps and bruises' stuff is speculative and overblown. Some of the guys that sat out today were likely out because it was goal line work, and Tomlin didn't want them in there. Aside from Bell having a bruised knee, who is out because there's been too much hitting?

I doubt tomlin is going to sit Jones a rookie who's run defense is a question on the goal line work if he wasn't banged up. What are yinz going to say when we lose a starter for the season. Also yeah nobody has the super bowls we have but guess what this is the first year under tomlin that they have hit this much. Let's just say clark goes to hit brown coming across the middle and they both come up limp then are you still going to be all for all this hitting. These guys are NFL players if they don't already know how to hit and how to tackle they wouldn't be in the nfl. I'm all for some hitting but a week straight is too much.

Who said Jones? Anyway, like I asked earlier, aside from Bell having a bruised knee, who is out because there's been too much hitting?
