He might be laying it on a little thick but I think any team drafting Mendoza with the #1 pick will regret it. If I am the Raiders, I trade that pick for a bunch of capital.

If I am the Raiders I just take Moore. He's worth the shot. He's got great arm talent, he's mobile enough in the pocket to make plays out of phase.... I like him a lot. He's very opposite of Mendoza. Mendoza feels safe. He's as NFL ready as a QB can be, he just lacks... high end talent. There's zero chance that Mendoza is worse than a solid back up, but I also think he has zero chance of being a top 5 QB in the league. Moore might not be as NFL ready, but if you're willing to throw him out there for like 12ish games his rookie year and let him learn on the go, I could see a Drake Maye or Josh Allen type build up in his performance (a year or two of just okay and then the light flips on). He has the tools to be a high end player, he just needs a bit of time learning on the go.

Brooks is out on Mendoza, too. He’s a little more complimentary of him though than the other two guys.

Not a first rd pick though.

Someone is going to take him high because it looks like the Indiana defense is just going to destroy the entire CFP and Mendoza coasts to the championship. Their defense has played VERY well against three straight REALLY good QB's in Sayin/Moore/Simpson. There's a shot all 3 of those guys are top 10-15 picks in whatever draft they come out in and the IU defense has made them look very meh.

I still think Mendoza NEEDS talent around him to succeed. You put him in an offense with weapons like the Lions... and he will do well. Put him in one with weapons like the Browns... he wont be. He's more of a passenger in the offense, or really just a facilitator. Not that you can't be good doing that... But I don't think the ultra high end is there for him. It wouldn't surprise me if he's a good NFL QB, it would surprise me greatly if he is either a great one or a really bad one.

I see that the media scout types are very torn on Mendoza. I really want to know what the actual scouts think of his game.

Can you imagine replacing that stupid Renegade with Fernando!

I have been watching his game. He will go either #1 to the Faders or #2 to the Jets.

    Not happening for the Steelers.

But if these nitwits that are saying his game is shame and he falls then maybe they can grab him. Saying he is the same as Sanders is hilarious. Idiots!

17 of 20 for 177yards and 5TDs. Not a bad stat line. But, how many were middle of the field, huh?

Mel Kiper had Dante Moore as his QB1 over Mendoza.

I have a feeling none of these guys are going very high, not top 10 anyway.

We’ll find out what teams actually think of them but I think it will be more like the Pickett draft class where players fall. Not to the 3rd rd but maybe the second with maybe one of them going in the first rd.

As I said before, I don’t believe any of these guys are worth a high number 1 pick, especially Simpson.

Build out the roster with our picks and hope Rodgers comes back or we take a big swing on someone like Willis.

We also need to find out what we have in Howard.

It would be his perfect destination... But they aren't going to get the chance lol Going to a team with a "Shanahan tree" coach would probably be a pretty sweet spot for him.

Maybe... Idk. Lots of QB needy teams at the top of the draft. I'd be surprised if one of them didn't fall in love with one of the QB's. You'd have to think Mendoza isn't falling past the Rams at 13 no matter what (McVey might want him to sit behind Stafford for a year or so and then take the reigns in a perfect system for him). With Vegas, NY Jets, Arizona, Cleveland, Miami, and even teams like Minnesota or the Saints all ahead of us... I would be surprised if at least 2 of the 3 aren't taken by our pick, probably all 3 will be.

I think 2 for sure. Moore was a bit concerning to me the other night though. Rather than make something out of nothing a few times to at least partially stem some blood loss, he just looked beaten and bewildered along with the rest of his team. I cut him some slack being 20 years old and inexperienced, but to me he doesn’t look ready to step in Day 1 and run a NFL offense like Stroud was.

I think Moore and Mendoza will both go early. After that I think teams will look elsewhere until the back end of the 1st at the earliest. But you never know. Desperation can lead to overdrafting.

2022 was also a QB needy draft and everyone fell.

You might be right but if Im a GM I wouldnt be spending a first on these guys.

He’s not the only one sounding the alarm on Mendoza though.

I definitely think hes more hype than good in a draft class desperate to pin someone as the #1 guy.

All Mendoza does is win and beat good teams, he's the best QB in this class and it's not close.
