Cohen and Johsnon are two men who should rate a little higher.

The Steelers could have had Harbaugh or Payton!

But Rooney is too tight fisted, values politics over ability ( a little ) and is spellbound by Tomlin's insightful jive. Meanwhile don't pay any attention to what the other hand is doing.

Maybe he did. I thought this was a ranking of coaches thread. And, I thought it was being based on coaching, and this season. Hardest places to be a coach maybe, is that what it means?

Why would the Steelers want Harbaugh when Tomlin has owned him?

Harbaugh and Tomlin are about the same tier career wise....But yeah if Tomlin leave,I don't want Harbaugh even if he is a good head coach....need something new

The head coaches of the Bears and Jaguars have done great things with their teams.

Give them a few Years, and comeback, and tell me that.
I still remember the people that wished we had ....
    Brian Daboll
    Mike McDaniels
    Kliff Kingsbury
Matt Nagy , just a few off the top of my head......for our HC. LoL
I'm glad our front office doesn't listen to fans.
How's about not crowning so quickly.

I totally agree, except for Kevin O'Connell, I need another year by him before I decide.
Speaking of Kyle Shanahan who I think is excellent. I seen a very disturbing stat of his yesterday.
All I'm saying is give it awhile before crowning them.

I am sure,O'Connell would be the number 1 candidate in the NFL if he was available...even ahead of Harbaugh. He is a great offensive coach, just need a QB who is not trash

    We'll see.
I believe when You are supposed to be a Qb whisper, and a big time scheme guy OC/HC, it's a little disingenuous to then blame it on a Qb that he had a hand in picking, and keeping

There are only two coaches with more than 10 years (Tomlin, Reid) and only six more (McDermott, McVay, Shanahan, LaFleur, Taylor, Campbell) with more than 5 years. So, 75% of NFL teams have head coaches with 5 or fewer years in their current position (if you include those with HC openings).

I never wanted those coaches. Did you watch the Bears and Packers last night, and will you watch the Jaguars today, contact me after that. I'll take those 2 coaches now over Tomlin and Im a diehard Steeler fan but Tomlin is stale and we need a change for better schemes, innovative plays both on offense and defense.

I was lurking in one of their message boards during the Chicago game where they lost at home and the fanbase wanted to blow up the entire team and coaching staff and start all over. They are brutal. lol

Guys at my club were annoyingly pissed off. Didn't shut up about it the whole frigging round. As soon as they beat the great Kenny Pickett they thought they were back as best in NFL.

Pretty sure you could Weekend at Bernie’s the Iggles head coaching gig.

his assistant hires have been a steady race to the bottom and his in game decisions are suspect at best.

I seem to remember him screaming at multiple players and didn’t he throw hands with one? I believe the Eagles have a dude whose job it is to keep the coach and players from physically fighting on the sidelines.

Dude is propped up by the best front office in the league that feeds him a pipeline of talent that should be the envy of the league.

Yeah I watched the Packers, and Bears. I watched a Packers team that most said was SB bound, and that's HC has won one playoff game since Rodgers left, and has only one season with double digit wins since Rodgers left. Not great for a Qb, and HC that I've heard many on here say was great, and to be beat by a Qb, and HC that were rookies in the playoffs. Could it be that Qbs matter with any HC??

You still gotta win. He's taken them to two SBs.
