    Jake Long's little brother. Played Division II, won an award as the best linemen on offense or defense as a senior. Played 49 games at LT.

    He went undrafted last year. Signed with the Rams, they let him go, and he stayed unemployed until he joined our PS last November, after our guys fell to injuries.

    Any idea as to why "Mr. Clean" (Gradkowski) wasn't in the QB rotation?

    Note: The Day-2 Recap on the Main Page, says the the QB Rotation was ... Ben, JPW, and L. Jones.

    5 bucks says it will be hard to get that starting job off of Redman!
    Good that we save Bell some wear and tear and Bad because if Redman shows big, we will not be able to afford him next year.

    To update that, Dwyer was reportedly looking to be in very good condition. Here's a pic of him and Redman from yesterday on the Trib site~

    A. Brown, Sanders, J. Brown, Gilreath, J.D. Woods, Wheaton, Reggie Dunn, LSH, Curtis McNeal, Kashif Moore and Hawthorne all fielded punts or kicks from the JUGS machine.

    Ugh, I hate that, hope that's just for emergency reasons, get them some work at it and not to win the job. I am usually of the mind set of injuries being part of the game but I just feel this is an unnecessary risk for your #1 & 2 receivers.

    I mention this because of all the talk about Gilbert and his conditioning...

    I still don't know if he's in shape, but according to Jonathan Dwyer, Marcus was training in the offseason with Lawrence Timmons, Antonio Brown, Sean Spence, Demarcus Van Dyke, and Dwyer himself, who lost 25-30 pounds. Those guys are all hard workers in good shape (DVD has a hamstring pull, but he's not overweight). I take that as a good sign.

    excitement, hydration, could have been anything that day. doesn't mean he's not in shape. he looks good. he's just a big thick dude. LOL.

    DVD is almost to thin. he could eat a cookie without it hurting him. he's fast as heck though.

    Yeah they do.. Dwyer doesn't have that belly that he's been carrying around for the last couple years.
