If they can keep Henry to 100 yards or less and get a couple of turnovers, then I like their chances.

I may be in the minority but I feel we have a good chance Sunday night.

Division games are very hard to predict because the teams are well acquainted with each other

Also predicting A-Rod has a whale of a game.

    No, I haven’t been drinking.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if they win. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they lose.

Such is life as a Steelers fan.

The defense can't give LJ all day in the pocket like they did with Sanders. LJ will make this defense pay if they do.

That's where Austin comes in to play.. If he's worth the money they pay him, which i think he's not, he should be able to game plan for this.

Agree 100 percent. Started a thread, we talk Tomlin type "losses"
This scenarios is where Tomlins teams surprise everyone. And Arod will indeed have a monster game.

Hoping the D can get some turnovers but 4th string WRs being a #1 is difficult for any coach or team.

I don't know if it's a minority opinion or not, but I think we have at least a50/50 chance Sunday. I'm not impressed by the Ravens this season. Not overly impressed by us either, but we can win this one.

One thing in our favor is that there isn't one clutch player on the Ravens. In every single start that Lamar has had against the Steelers he's thrown at least one pick. They had the Bills beat in the playoffs last year but Andrews fumbled and then dropped the 2 point conversion that would have won the game. Isaiah Likely has had 3 games in which he was half step away from winning a game only to bungle it up. Even Henry has had some fumbles this year that have led to the other team making a comeback. And they have Harbaugh who has blown more fourth quarter leads than any coach in history.
I almost forgot about their WR Flowers who has had fumbles at critical times in a couple of playoff games.

Careful. We don't want him thinking he needs to dial it up. ;)

Its kinda a battle of who can overcome their deficiencies... Can the Ravens find a clutch gene in any of the players that have shrunk when the moments get the brightest? Can Mike Tomlin slay the elusive dragon of having his team ready to play and gameplanned effectively in a win or go home game?

It does kinda give you more hope that its a regular season game and not a playoff game, even if the game is "win or go home" like a playoff game. It's also home, which hasn't mattered much in the post season, but we have tended to play big at home when we need it in the regular season.

We will probably know very early what type of game this is going to be. If we come out like we did against the Browns... it will be over quickly. The Ravens aren't a great team, but they are way better than the Browns. If we come out hot or keep it close, then we will have a chance all the way to the end.

Mike Tomlin won his last win or go home game. It was the year before last (2023). The team we beat in that scenario on the last week of the season was the Ravens.

    Our QB was Mason Rudolph.

On reflection, Ravens clinched number one so they sat Lamar. Nevertheless, we beat the Ravens on the last day in 2021 in a back against the wall scenario.

Bottom.line the idea that MT teams tend to routinely lose in such scenarios in the regular season is not true
